for the Samsung SCH-i600 / SP-i600:Excellent, But Not Perfect
This review is for the Verizon version with Windows Mobile 2003... The i600 does a lot of things quite well, but it shouldn't be mistaken for a full-featured PDA or even a Treo. The 600 syncs with the desktop without much of a problem, makes calls quite well. RF performance seems moderate, but I usually have a strong signal at home and work. for the Motorola V710:Technological Marvel, But Can't Do Basics Well
I've had the phone now for about a week. I'm both impressed with the technology packed into the phone and equally as disappointed at the design and execution of the most basic functions. Let me begin by saying that my needs for a cell phone are not too demanding. for the Audiovox CDM-9500 / Toshiba CDM9500:Really Happy... 9500 Does Basics Well
I just picked up a used 9500 on eBay for a little less than $50, including car/home chargers, holster, etc. Probably the best $50 I ever spent on anything mobile phone related. First issue I noticed was battery life, so I sprung for 2 extended batteries (with door). A previous review mentioned better than double the "standard" (slim) battery life, which is correct.
