NICE DEVICE-NOT SO SMART PHONE
The user interface on this device works well... Really well. The home screen is layed out well with 3 huge icons center stage and a swift moving tool bar on the side to access menu items. More about the tool bar in a moment. The operating system is fast compared to WinMo. Great navigation features... easy to access... and quick to come up. The pedestrian mode is awesome with a compass that is easily accessed and read. Nice Screen! Matte finished like ...
Impressive
This is an impressive handset. The first thing that I was worried about was if the phone would show up with same finish as the KRAZR... That fingerprint magnet was an atrocity. This phone on the other hand has the same rubberized mat finish that PEBL & high end Samsung handsets have. I like the slide form factor. I had to retire my D600, D820, and D900 due to POOR receiver sensitivity. Samsung makes a superior high end handset ...

When I enter into call processing speaker-phone is not accessible until the call is connected and then it is a 2 button procedure to activate it. Tedious for voice mail retrieval and the like. Aside from that: 2 mega pixel camera w/LED flash; MPEG4 video; MP3 audio; 75 meg shared internal memory; slot; stereo speakers; A TFT display that's HUGE; came with data cable and software... stereo headset... audio/video ...
Pretty Sad
Pretty sad that a Toshiba manufactured handset performs this poorly... I gauge most of these phones from a receiver sensitivity standpoint and how well they perform in a real world application... in the network. Low/no receiver sensitivity when stacked up against other product offerings from Sprint PCS. Bells and whistles.... they've all got them, if the phone fails to place and receive where other phones do not we can not endorse the handset. Yes, the phone has a built-in ...
No Great Shakes
As is with most of the 3G voice products that have sprung up recently this handset shows low/no receiver sensitivity and consistently searches for signal where other handsets appear to have no problem. If you are looking at this phone as a possible purchase I might ask you to ask the sales rep to fire one up... look at the signal strength on it then look at any one of the Sanyos... NIGHT & DAY. Battery life on this ...
