for the Nokia 1006:It's alright for temporary usage
PROs: ~Cheap ~small ~easy to read number pad with light-up backgrounds ~internet ready ~in-depth alarm clock ~Includes Tip Calculator CONs: ~Software lags ~Not texting friendly ~Not browser friendly (pressing UP can mean moving both moving upward and previous page) ~Loud Speaker is not so loud Texting can be torturous, would not recommend this phone to anyone that relies heavily on text messaging (such as myself, which explains the low review).
