for the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD:
Great Phone, Gets the Job Done
My personal upgrade and my employer phone option came up at the same time...what to do? For my work phone I took the HTC Droid DNA and my personal upgrade I got the MAXX HD. Thios review is for the MAXX HD. The deal-breaker here was expandable memory. The MAXX HD was the only one of the two that took SD cards. The MAXX HD is also heavier and bulkier than the DNA but ...

for the HTC Droid DNA:
Fabulous but doesnt take SD cards
On my last upgrade it came down to the DNA or the Moto RAZR MAXX HD, but then my company phone option came up and I took the DNA while using my personal phone upgrade to get the MAXX HD. Basically a coin toss between the two. This review is for the DNA. PROS: - Thin, thin, thin - Great sized screen - Very fast, snappy interface...response time excellent - One of the first to get Jelly Bean - ...

for the Motorola Droid RAZR M / Luge:
Possibly The Best LTE Phone Currently Out
The RAZR M is now my third LTE phone (thanks to my employer's test phone program). I've had it about a month now, activating it with Ice Cream Sandwich and just getting the Jellybean update last week. This phone is smooth. Everything works. I love the nice, tight body and with the Kevlar back and Gorilla Glass touch screen the RAZR M feels durable. The screen bezel is minimal so there's no wasted space ...

for the LG Enlighten / Optimus Slider / Optimus Zip:
Dependable
Just changed from this to a Spectrum, but that was my employer's choice not mine. The Enlighten is definitely a steady-Eddie of a smartphone. Very reliable all-around, never had any of the usual smartphone issues like freezing, power-cycling, etc. It just worked. Touchscreen could be a tad more responsive as I found myself having to deliberately press on a link or shortcut, a light touch or brush just doesnt do it with this phone. ...

for the LG Spectrum:
Very nice, has a few minor flaws
This one just became my company phone, and my first LTE. Very impressed by the quickness and the screen. Could have a few improvements though. PROS: Large screen, very sharp, beautiful colors Fast processor, apps run quickly and smoothly Thin, not like the RAZR but pretty thin CONS: Charger port is on top, should be on side or bottom Speaker is somewhat quiet, found myself holding the phone to my ear in order to hear the sound on a few sports or news video ...

for the Samsung Intensity U450 / DoubleTake:
Good Reliable Basic TXT'ing Phone
Got the Intensity for my mom using VZW's BOGO offer when I got my Incredible. It doesn't fall under VZW's "3G Multimedia" category so it doesn't require a data plan, but it does support their V Cast and Mobile Web services, but not strongly. My mom had no trouble learning how to do stuff with the Intensity; in fact she wanted a QWERTY phone so she could TXT the grandkids easier. No problem. I didn't ...

for the HTC Droid Incredible:
XLNT but not perfect
The touchscreen on the D/I is the best I've come across, typing is easy and accurate except that without buttons you have to pay attention to what you're typing. If battery usage is a deal-breaker then look elsewhere - the processor is so powerful for a smartphone that it draws power very rapidly, requiring more frequent charges. VZW has an extended life battery (with battery door) coming soon. The only technical glitch I've come across is ...
