for the Audiovox SMT 5600 / SPV C500 (HTC Typhoon):A month with my 5600
I give it a 4.5 because nothing made by man can be perfect. I had become so frustrated with the reception of my old MPx200 that I actually migrated back to tdma for a while. During this time, I was miserable without my PDA/phone. When the 5600 came out, I decided to give it a shot since it has GSM850 and GSM 1900. for the Audiovox PPC 4100 / SP230:Not too many issues in first week
I got my 4100 on Saturday, so this review is based on 5 days use. This is the first time I'v been patient and let the phone charge overnight before playing. All was going well until my wife called and couldn't hear a word I said. Bad microphone. Took it to the store and exchanged it (they let me keep my fully charged battery). All seems well so far. for the Motorola MPx200:My new MPx200--3days, not bad
PROs: Syncs Outlook Calendar & Contacts nicely; nice color screen, pretty good speakerphone, SD slot for storage, familiar web browser, love the size of this phone. CONs: Battery life, What happened to Outlook Tasks? It's like they got tired of working on Outlook and just stopped at the tasks. No prioritizing, setting due dates, reminders for tasks.
