Great "Starter" smartphone
We recently picked this one up for my wife. I've been using a Droid myself for the past year, while she had an older messaging phone (the LG Voyager). She was eligible for an upgrade on her line, and we've found that when we're out together she was borrowing my Droid more frequently, to my annoyance. I really liked this phone for the 3 years I used it
I used this phone for 3 years on Cingular/AT&T, and only switched (to a Samsung SLM) because the 220 finally died. for the Samsung SLM SGH-A747:
I like it
Thin, lightweight, FAST net access. Call quality is fantastic. Battery life has been excellent (but I'm admittedly not a very critical judge of that -- this phone replaces a Motorola MPx220, which I lived with for three years). It's not a full-fledged Smart Phone, but I knew that going in -- I didn't use the "smart" features of the 220 that much anyway.
