for the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330:
Good little phone
After living the Android life for 11 months (and I love Android), I switched back to the faithful, friendly, easy BB. Didn't realize how much I missed a real keyboard. Small, compact, but powerful enough-the internet is fast, the Facebook app is far better than Android's, call quality is excellent (again better than droid), and the calendar/messaging/email is just perfect. I have a few "must have" games - and although the Appworld isn't android, I don't use or ...

for the HTC Droid Eris:
There's no going back...
I was debating between the Moto Droid, the BB Tour 2, or the Eris. I loved my Curve but was seeing nothing new or exciting from Blackberry. Although the Moto fascinated me, I could never ever get used to typing on the keyboards - physical or virtual. I chose the Eris and have not regretting it for one second. Phone is small and light, but not so light it feels cheap or unsubstantial. The fit and finish is ...

for the BlackBerry Curve 8330:
A LITTLE LATE
I know I'm a little late to the party, but I just got this phone given to me (lost the charger on my Centro) and I am adjusting well. Much better than the Pearl I had some years ago...in ALL respects. Call quality is superb, messaging and email are fantastic. The only cons are (1) battery life, (2) I sort of miss Palm's "touch" screen; and (3) what's up with that 160 character cutoff? My Palm used to let ...

for the Palm Centro 690 (CDMA):
No data plan required....
Pros: Small size, nice appearance (not a brick) Keypad is tiny but surprisingly accurate Threaded Text Messaging Customizable Palm just makes sense (user friendly) Verizon network (sounds like a landline) No data plan necessary Cons: Camera could be better Battery life just Ok, but that's typical with this type of phone, so not a major con Bottom Line: Just does exactly what I need it to when I need it to. I need more than a phone but less than a laptop and this meets my needs and expectations. The internet ...

for the UTStarcom Blitz TXT8010:
Blown away by the Blitz
I just gave my Moto W755 to my son (which I liked) and got this Blitz. First, it's not what it looks like in pictures. The blue is darker and very sleek looking. It does look a bit like a handheld toy game, but I gotta tell you, this phone is simply a nice phone and a full qwerty texting device. Camera is not bad, either. The size is actually very nice, when closed up, smaller than a blackberry, ...

for the Motorola W755:
...Finally!
I love this phone. Pros: soft touch paint, purple color, nice themes, itapen (I've missed you), great build quality, user-friendly, great call quality, reception, RF, Moto is back...! Cons: Camera could be better (even though not 2 mp, the E815 camera was better than this), wish there was better calendar functionality on the non-pda phones, but... Not a deal breaker. This phone is perfect for me. If you like Motorola and just need a decent phone, you will not be disappointed.

for the Samsung SCH-U740 Alias:
It DOES hold up...
I'm using a hand-me-down Alias until the freaking Curve gets here. It's over a year old and it's still kicking. Good battery life, signal, the hinge is fine and not loose or wobbly, I don't flip over the tiny keyboard but speech-to-text works when I need it to. Easier to use fingernails than trying to use your fingers...and people still see it and think it's remarkable with the 2-way flip - all in all great job Samsung - ...

for the LG Venus VX-8800:
What's Not to Love??
Coming from the Razr and enV (both of which I really liked), I was hesitant to spring for a slider. I love this phone and I may actually keep it for 2 years… LG has done it again because what I didn’t like about the enV (and there wasn’t much), they fixed here with large, clear fonts, fantastic call clarity (no muffling here), great reception, loud ringers, very customizable, and a superb (once again) 2mp camera. I don’t miss ...

for the LG enV VX-9900:
SO HAPPY
I just took the Blackberry Pearl back for this phone. You may think I'm crazy, the Pearl was ridiculous it did everything but change the oil in my car, but I'm just not techie enough to spend all that money (data plan, etc.) for the internet and email on a bitty screen - thats what my laptop is for. This enV is everything I want: PROS great phone, great texting, FANTASTIC camera, a keyboard I can actually get used to, 2 ...

for the BlackBerry Pearl 8130:
Adjusting
Have used for 2 days now and will use every bit of my 30 days carefully to see if I'll keep... I use a cell phone primarily as a talking/texting device and call quality, reliability and customer service are why I stay with Verizon. I am new to BB but have been waiting for the small and attractive Pearl. I am still getting used to the Suretype, but: Pros - call quality, speakerphone, good volume controls, great vibe, easy, fast email, ...
