for the LG Rumor / Scoop / UX-260:LG Scoop with Alltel
I was skeptical getting this phone at first. I don't have any need for a PDA phone, so I wouldn't go with one of those. But I did like the idea of a QWERTY keyboard; it seemed like a common middle to go with. So, when it came time for my upgrade, I got the slate grey Scoop. for the Nokia 6255i / 6256i:Why all the hate?
Granted, this wasn't the best phone of it's time. When we got this, we got three of them (with Alltel). They worked great for us. Reception was okay in the bigger parts of our city, but we still didn't get some signal in certain areas. Posted this originally in the forums, but some small things have changed. I allowed the phone to die completely before charging it, and the battery has become fantastic.
