for the Nokia 1100:A good starter phone.
This is a good phone for children or first-time users. It is compact, comfortable to hold and use, has all the basic features easily accessible, and is generally good. The screen is large, although it is black and white, and the menus are easy to navigate. This is a very basic phone, and it has many very annoying flaws. When you turn on the phone, it often says 'searching... please wait." I suppose it's searching for service, but it won't even let you acces features that are on the phone, like games, contacts, clock, etc. And many times when it has finally found service, when you go into features like messages or contacts, it will say 'try again later'.
