So at this time you have the Touch. Do you mind not having a full keyboard, Expandable Memory, or a Flash on your phone? if you don't mind missing those then the Diamond is for you. If you would like any of them then you will want the TP. Ducati

I would have to say it depends on the phone and what you are trying to do. If you have a Windows Mobile phone and download and install WMWifi router there would be no need to tether. Ducati

I was refering to the 2 phones that he had mentioned. My only real issue with VZW is that they like to cripple their phones. Look at the specs between the VZW TP and the Alltel or Sprint versions. ducati

I really have to disagree with you on how the VZW smartphones look. as they are ugly as sin. but if that is what you like you should be able to get to vzw if you are not in one of the listed areas. There is a post on the forums about porting to vzw. Ducati

When you first go to the alltel site you will see 80 million strong and if you click learn more you will get the option to put in 3 verizon numbers to verify they are still verizon customers. Ducati

There will be an area on the Alltel site that will let you put in TN's for VZ customers to find out if they are still VZ customers from what I have been told be Alltel agents. Ducati

My wife has the Diamond and I have the Touch Pro. Depends on what you need / want the differences are the Touch pro has the slide out KB, expandable memory slot via Micro SD, and a Flash for the camera. Ducati

You will be able to switch when your contract is up or you can buy a phone out right, All alltel equipment is able to work on VZ network. Ducati

I would have to say no as when you buy the phone it will require a new contract if you buy it from a store and not at full cash price. You can buy VZ phones now and put them on alltel.. Ducati

I have not looked at the phone but if it is a full web browser as it says it is, the Axcess pass will not cover it you are talking about true data flow not just minutes from your plan. Ducati

Pro should be out on 13th last i heard, and I have heard nothing about any other touch screen phones out before then, not for alltel anyways, you could try to buy a STORM out right and add it to Alltel network but never know. Ducati

Well Yoboy your first issue is that you didn't chk ur pricing $199.99. second is that if the phone has a full browser that will require use of data services then why not require a smart choice plan where the customer will not receive data charges? You are failing in this fight really u are.

SecureDigitalHighCapacity it is the type of micro SD card the TP can use. It can hold up to 32gb of data.

I can agree with you on the price, as my bill per month for 2 phones is $150.00 we are on the smart choice 1200 plan with Insurance on a HTC Touch & a HTC 6800. I am looking at the pro for me. Wife is happy with her Touch. I also like that the Pro is SDHC capable. Not sure what the back ground on the storm is. I have yet to hear anything ...

Sandy the TP should be droped with alltel on Nov. 13th, per some sources. They have nothing to lose by selling it and alot to gain alot of users are wanting this phone. I love the KB and the Business card scanner if Alltel keeps that part of the phone. BB would still b back seat to me.
