I have had fantastic reception with this phone, far better than my RAZOR V3M (internal antenna), which is better than my i730 (external antenna).

Now that I think about it, that may have been my RAZOR that connected to my computer.

Yes, I have been successful. I use an iMac, though, so if you are on PC, it may or may not work, I couldn't say.
