that they sold them for too low of a price. The problem was that they ADVERTISED them for less than they were supposed to. As a retailer they can sell them for whatever they want. They just can't advertise them for less than they are MAPed for. Thats why when you go to Amazonwireless,Wirefly, Walmart Wireless or any of the other online retailers you have to add it to your cart to see the price.

Why?

because they broke the rules. They can sell the phone for whatever they want, they just can't advertise it for less that what VZW has it MAPed at.

I don't work in a call center, so I couldn't say for sure. I'm sure all of them have their crazies, you just keep getting Missouri crazies (there are alot of them). The upper michigan thing just kinda stuck out in your post so i couldn't help it.

Your DTMF tones are turned off, basically your phone is not a touch tone phone. This is a setting that you can change, i can't tell you where it is because i don't know what V3 you have or what software is on it. Your best bet is to stop in a store and have a rep do it for you, it should only take a minute if they know what they are doing.

VZW...yeah, but aren't we supposed to provide them at every transaction. I am going to do an upgrade after the assumption is completed. I just want to make sure this can't come back on me.

I have a blind customer assuming liability of a line, how do I provide them with the T&C's? Obviously she can't read the ones on the contract.

I actually had a customers payment not post once, they came in two months later all PO'ed saying customer service said we were responsible for the bill since we didn't post it. I told them that would be true if we had taken the payment, but I simply assisted them with the payment and unless they could come up with a bank statement showing our store was paid then they were responsible for the bill. He said "no you ...

So the store I work at used to offer to call in customers bill payments for them when they wanted to pay with check or credit. So we have alot of customers that come in to pay their bills that way...No problem. Most of them I'm familiar with now and have absolutely no problem helping them out, but I always give them the information to do it themselves. When a custy comes in to pay a bill that I am ...

wish i could be specific on this one, pretty sure I'd get caught though!! 1. Your not just using Mobile to Mobile, your bill would be that high if you were. 2. How did you go over your text messaging if your phone isn't sending or receiving text messages? 3. How are you using your phone everyday and going over voice and messaging if neither of your chargers ever worked...since the day you got them? 4. I am not going to give you ...

..can't people read signs? ..are doctors always the dumbest customers? ..do people get mad when you don't have an accessory for a phone that is 6 years old? ..can't people remember their passwords? ..do they look at you like your stupid when you ask them to guess? ..can't parents watch their children? ..can't people ever think of a better answer than "i don't know"? I have lost all hope for the human race, a large portion of the worlds population is growing dumber by the day!

I would like to know if anyone has used different calendar software on Windows Mobile. The calendar I have now works, but I could benefit greatly from a color-coded calendar. I would just like some input befre i actually download anything to my phone.

yeah, its not so bad when the person has lived their lives. The worst one i have ever had to do was for a mother whos son had died of cancer. That was the only reason he even got a phone (because they were just doing anything to make him happy). Customer Service wouldn't credit the ETF because the service wasn't in his name. That was 3 or 4 years ago, but i did cry when she came in ...

Yeah there really is no conversing with those customers. I'm always afraid i will say something stupid and make them snap, or feel worse. "So do you have all your christmass shopping done yet?" "How has your day been so far?" "Looking forward to christmas?" I haven't lost anyone really close to me, so i can only imagine how they feel.

not necessarily PDA/BB. They say, "yeah my kid wants this one with a keyboard, and it has the musice too Right?" Then you explain how the service works and they say " Well he's not going to use it so i don't need that package" then they come back after cgristmas with their first $500 bill. I swear cellular customers are not only spoiled, they also contradict themselves more than anyone!

I know this has been said time and time again, but this one had a new twist. C - Customer M - Me M: Hello, how are you? C: Good. We got our new phones last night and I have the paperwork for my discount. Can you process this here for me or do i have to go to corp? (pulls out contract, email print-off, rebate forms) M: I can do it here do you have the form? Where did you get your phones? C: ...

Verizon doesn't have a policy like that. But we aren't supposed to activate them if they live or primarily use there phone outside of our licensed area.

For everybody on a rate plan of $59.99 or higher. Has to be on that plan for more than 3 months. No past due, and have not had a new phone for at least 12 months

Verizon wireless allows upgrade after twelve months on rate plans $59.99 or higher. As an indirect you CAN process it you just get paid less (but they don't go to corp and do it). All you have to do is run the app and call in to OP to get it approved. Its in Infocenter under policies - agent upgrade MP
