For anyone thinking about purchasing a Helio device ("not a phone, not a phone company")-
First good news - they now offer M2M for their all in customers.
second great news - I heard they have just moved their customer service center (no longer ClientLogic). So that will improve.
and if you are worried about coverage, keep in mind, wherever there is Sprint or Vorizon coverage you will find Helio, as they do not have their own towers but travel through Sprint ...

Ditto to that, I've had Sprint and I now have Helio. I've NEVER had a dropped call with either unlike some of the other carriers I've been with.

I agrre with most of what was said above and I do put the blame on ClientLogic (Sitel) not Helio. Why do you think Helio is pulling it's campaign from them?

I realize that these may be the prices that you were quoted, but the credit fee/deposit is based on your credit score and can range from zero to $350. I should know my whole family has a Helio and we've all paid different prices.

I'm sure that they will someday - you have to remember that the company is not even a year old - what new company offers discounts their first year - they need to make money to give money - give them time

Helio (who claims not to be a phone company) is starting to act like one - they now do credit checks and there are fees depending on your credit score. and that's both through a retalier or directly from Helio.

1. yes, but it can take up to 3 business days to complete - also you can't have already caneled that # or owe that company any money.
2. yes, but you have to purchase the device directly from Helio either on their web site or by calling 1-888-884-3546 and mentioning MySpace no contract promo.
3. It could be better, but it's MySpace's fault not Helio's
4. As long as you're in a EVDO area it's great.

1. yes, however you do have to convert the file for the ringtone format. no, the quality does not go down.
