So.....
The Storm has Quad Band GSM as well, so can I unlock it and use it with T-Mobile or AT&T?

Sorry, just had to get that off my chest!
Finally!
T-Mobile has an affordable phone with GPS. Now if we can only grab either the Pearl or the Curve with GPS in it...
Re: Help....Fast!!!
mini.opera.com on the phone's existing internet browser. ota install.
Re: WTF!!??? Really!!
That's why I always affix a note to all of my beverages that simply states, "WARNING: The owner of this drink has herpes and is currently having a breakout. Steal at your own risk!!!"
Re: @Home-you CAN fax, but is it FULL Caller ID?
True caller ID- name and number
Re: Any Cell Phone Tattoos???
T-Mo employee has a tattoo of her "MyFaves" on her back....
Re: Stupid question
While you are composing a text message, press the Menu button and click "enable multitap," this will make it so that you push twice for the second letter on the key.
Re: Account remarks...
"customer doesn't like to chat, just wants to get to the point"
-That one made me chuckle
"Customer likes talking about his 1999 ford truck with a 7.3 litre powerstroke diesel engine"
-That was probably my favorite only because who knows how long this guy rambled on about his truck until the rep thought this note needed to be added to his account
Re: Account remarks...
Umm, yeah! Have you never heard of O-Town?!?!?!

Re: Something I Never Do - Long even for me
wow....
Re: Something I Never Do - Long even for me
I understand where you are going with "contrct worth," but try explaining to a customer that his neighbor got a better price on her new phone than he gets on his phone because her contract is worth more to T-Mobile.
That would be like Grandma giving Jimmy better Christmas presents because he makes more money. Just flat out doesn't work that way.
Re: your best option is indirect agent
Nik,
To actually ANSWER your question: No, indirects make a lot more money on a new act than they would an upgrade. It's usually about double. That's why they rely on "false churn" to make their money. Remember; Even though you might get a better price on the phone you would still have to pay a new activation fee etc..
My best advice is to call care and threaten to cancel ...
Re: Indirect Dealers Don't know ANYTHING!
Not all Indirects are shady... However, every indirect that I've worked with or heard about has done plenty of shady stuff. Anywhere from selling used phones as new to outright social security fraud! All Indirects are trying to find some sort of angle that will make them more money and most of the time it ends up being against the rules. Corporate stores or their reps can do shady stuff as well, but with all ...
Re: Ways to get bad credit customers approved?
Bad credit= FlexPay
No deposit but you might have to pay full price for a phone.....
Re: Top CSR stories
Maybe it's a fetish. Cell phone bills turn them on...????
"Happy Valentine's Day, Baby. Let's call 611!"
"Ooohh, you're naughty..."
"No, you're naughty! Look at your overages."
"Ohhh, yeah. Read me that detailed call log, Stud!"
It takes all kinds....
Re: TMO Insurance Question
Actually you can add insurance to ANY phone, it just has to be within 14 days of the first time you use the phone. The phone just has to work because in order for Asurion to cover the phone you have to make at least one phone call.
Re: hey you idiot >>>>
Please, take your info somewhere else. The last thing we need is someone else trying to cheat the system, tell people to activate fraud, and overall act like a Jackass. Look, wireless is a BUSINESS, just like any other business if you do shady stuff PRICES GO UP! Phone prices, accessories, services, everything goes up. The only people you're really taking advantge of when you advise someone to cheat the system with your "two cents" ...
Re: But why can't I get that phone? Funny, kinda long.
Wait, so if she was looking for a charger and didn't know the phone runs on a battery just what the hell did she think she was charging?!?!
What I'm SICK of!!
"I've had this phone for 6 months and it hasn't worked since day one! What are you going to do for me?" (Ummm, tell you that you should have exchanged it when you had the chance)
"This phone is a piece of crap! I want to return it." (Yeah, that Blackberry sure is a piece of crap. I have no idea why we sell them.....)
"I'm already authorized on the account!" (No, you're not. I'm looking at ...
Re: Internet browser
Does this work with the Pearl as well?
Re: muzak
Hitlist... All day, every day...
Oh, guess what.. Another Gwen Stefani song!
Re: What do you think is the average.......
I think indirect has a lot more turnover than direct corporate locations.
Re: A question for T-Mobile store reps
I'm actually pretty surprised at how many people put down the $250. I'v never activated with a $500 Deposit. I've also never had anybody come in from telesales, so feel free to send them my way!
Re: gotta love the verizon management
I really don't see how this is a good thing for you in the long run. Now everybody that this guy knows with liquid damage on their phone is going to come in and see you expecting to get a new phone for free. You may have just caused yourself one big headache...
Re: ok..heres a question..but imbeing serious on this one
My answer is two-fold.
First: NIN, Manson, Orgy, etc... is not the kind of music that most men think a hot little "dancer" would listen to, so I'm sure that their first reaction was shock.
Second: Most men that go to the club are not the type to listen to that kind of music. The men that listen to Manson and NIN are too busy "not tanning" in the shade or the privacy of their own basement.
Of course ...
Re: Most Psycho Call Ever.
That's just one of those times when you have to pull out the old, "Ssssshhhhhhhh I'm going through a tunnel I might cut out on you Ssssssshhhhhh" routine.
Then talk to your therapist/priest/pastor/mom/best friend before you cry yourself to sleep......
Re: why, Why, WHY!?!?
I always wonder what a customer thinks our account management screen looks like. It's like they think we have three big buttons, one saying, "pay bill," one saying, "cancel account," an one big red button saying, "SCREW CUSTOMER OVER!"
Re: Dead Slow
hey chainsaw, what company do you work for?
Re: when will the nokia 5300 be avilable ?
It launches on 2-28-07
Re: Help!! Cops called because TMobile corporate store refused refund of $50 activation fee
"After consulting the manager I was told I would only be refunded $20 for the kit, and that the remaining $30 was for prepaid airtime that was non refundable"
No, becase they offered to refund the rest, just not the "non-refundable" airtime.
Re: Help!! Cops called because TMobile corporate store refused refund of $50 activation fee
I can't stand people with your attitude. The customer is always right only when the custmoer is being reasonable. Non-refundable is non-refundable. Sad but true. Trying to get employees fired because you don't agree with them is not being right, or "King" as you so eloquently put it. When are we as consumers and as Americans in general going to open our eyes and realize that people are just trying to do the best ...
Re: TMS
Haha, this thread is AWESOME!!!
Where is everyone from? Is this a nationwide epidemic? I thought it was just in my region. We have customers come in all the time wondering why their bill is so high.
Me- "Well, you have a $35 activation fee for your second line."
Cust- "A what? I only have one line!!!"
Me- "Actually, you hve two active lines on your account."
Cust- "I just did an upgrade, but I only have one line on ...
Re: National Opposite Day

Re: Alltel Employes...
"Someone mentioned a free plan with alltel and some other stuff..."
What the hell kind of an interview process did you go through?
Interviewer: "Umm, yeah. We have those commercials with the guy and the circle and we make fun of other cellular companies. Wanna come work for us?"
You: "Sure!"
If I was you, I'd ask more questions BEFORE they offer you a career...
Re: Any Sprint rep wanna help me out?
If you want something for free each time you get jerked around by Sprint customer care, you're in for a long one Brother... I love Sprint: The phones, the network, everything is great! Their "customers, who cares?!?!" department, however, is fantastically dreadful!!!!!
