Right now, there isn't a single flip smartphone available from the majors: Blackberry Style has been discontinued by Sprint. Does everybody really need a 4" brick? Is there no more hope for a flip form-factor?

I talked to the local Sprint store (Chicago). I cannot pre-order. Their best suggestion - "come here at 8am, or at least before lunch." Well... I have a work to go to - that's how I am able to afford Evo and Sprint service. Why don't they get it? Remind me again - why should I buy from a Sprint store? Because of the ReadyNow service that I have no time for? Or because of 25% discount on overpriced accessories? I ...

I have a Sprint Premier account - so I get early equipment upgrade and no "activation" charges. Will I be able to get my upgrade to Evo done at Radio Shack?

Strangest customer service experience today. Called to get a subsidy lock removed for my old phone (just got a new one). CS rep was looking for some form for ~5 mins, took IMEI number, and then said: "I can't process your request, because this phone is not currently active." WTF? :x

I guess that's what I have to do too. Can you tell us when you expect the problem to be resolved? Also, funny that you mention AC. In my case, situation is worse next to water (Jersey City). Coincidence?

Whoever is in charge of 3G rollout in Northern NJ should have his a** kicked - the calls are getting dropped left and right, peak and off-peak. Yesterday (Sunday) - had 5 bars, dropped twice in a 40 min phone conversation, several times voices became really garbled like a borderline drop. This is happening with both Moto and Samsung - so particular phone is out of question. So, if I call 611 - what do I tell them? and what ...

This p.o.s. drops calls all the time - it seems every time it wants to transition between 3G and 2G networks (which happens often). Why-oh-why can't they do it right? :x
