I've got a "keybo" which is the Canadian version of the enV2 (because we didn't get the original enV). I've got Opera Mini on it, and most of Canada is CDMA 3G, so it's pretty much the coolest not-data phone ever. Student plan gives me unlimited talk/text with any 10 number nationwide, plus 200 local mins, ul n&w at 6pm, and free caller id/voicemail,.. plus 250 free text outside of the 10. I'm so in love with this!

Good luck with that. My sister went through the running away/angsty cutting teen phase... My dad bribed her with a brand new tv for her bedroom if she went to 4 sessions. She only went once. So my dad was stuck with a TV he didn't want or need.

8O I get that all the time! One guy took a very minimal plan because he just had it "for emergencies" and then asked me to waive the e911 fee because he wasn't planning on having any emergencies!

uggghhh Ensemble is so bad... I'm all about the P2K!! haha actually, now I'm working for a Canadian provider, which is 1,000 times better,... they don't realize what other companies (especially the US ones) are offering.

I'm not too sure, I work for TELUS and constantly call people who have it, and like I said, my dad has it as well... so it's been around for at least a month.

What I would suggest for you is going to Rogers and getting a prepaid package. The reason I would suggest Rogers is that they have an awesome prepaid deal. You put $100 on your account, and that gives you a 5c/min rate (I think that it also gives you 1c/min on weekends, I'm not sure though). It also will not expire for a year.

I actually sell to Sprint business clients.. and if there's one thing we REALLY need is a much better Nextel promotion! The whole "We'll offer you a free phone for $49.99" thing doesn't really cut it. I think that business clients should not have to worry about MIRs, it should be overlay or nothing.

We CAN sell both, but my team prefers Sprint, because it's easier to sell. (Unless you're selling to construction workers or truckers.) It really depends on what lists corporate sends us, usually a couple of sprint lists, and a couple of nextel lists. Right now we're pretty much out of numbers, and instead of sending us home, or making us do something else... we're calling these same couple thousand people over and over and over every day! $17.00 per new activation. (We don't do upgrades or anything like that, so that's pretty much it.) On consumer nextel, it's pretty much the same as yours.. you need a specific UPH (units per hour) to get a bonus, once you reach it you can either hit low, medium, or high bonus. High bonus tops out at 19 units in a pay period, and you get 8.00 per sale.

Parents teach their children to be difficult to telemarketers... I've had 5 year olds ask to be put on the do not call list, tell me to screw off, or even smaller children just babble and 'hello? who are you? I'm Sara. What your name? What your name!?'

At my center you have a choice of AM or PM. On the Sprint/Nextel campaign your choices are 9 - 5:45 (AM shift) or 2:50 - 11:35 (PM Shift). Then it gets split into A schedule and B schedule, which work alternating Mondays and Saturdays. Lucky me, I'm on Sprint Business to Business. Our shift choices are AM (Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 5:45) or PM (Monday to Friday, 11:50 - 8:35). They just changed the PM schedule so ...

Haha. A coworker of mine has a standard response to the cancellation threat. "Sure, that's absolutely fine with me! Just give me one moment to transfer you to the $200.00 plus tax Early Termination Fee Department and they would be happy to take your money!" They usually get pissed and hang up at that point.

Am I the only one who gets a kick out of calmy sweet-talking irate customers? I love giving them a calm, sensible, and cool-headed answer after they pretty much bit your head off, chewed it up, and spit it out on the sidewalk. I almost wish I could see their faces. You can just hear the fire coming out of their ears. They suddenly have nothing left but to apologize or just hang up. I love it!

I say that at least twice a day. I just make sure I hit the mute button after 'day.' Once I slipped up, but she'd already hung up and I wasn't being monitored, so I was safe.
