Re: Treo 700p VS. Treo 755
At least the Treo 755p one won't get you taken down by TSA in the airports.
Re: People watching
Every so often when we're leaving the office at night, we'll find people knocking boots in the ally behind us, sometimes in the car, often on the hood and even against the wall. I'm going to have to start vid clipping the action and upload it to a site for sharing.
Re: Dummy Phones
eBay is a great place to unload the dummy phones. Why someone would want a dummy model besides possibely using the housing of it is beyond me. I have to applaude these people though who have purloined your dummy phones for your lack of loss prevention.
Re: lets face it...the iphone is the only innovation the US is seeing this year
Scratch the Samsung Ace. That was the ESPN Mobile's moniker for the Samsung A900. Same handset except a red keypad display.
Re: A640
The M300 is pretty good.
Re: Hey Rich and Eric
Oh yeah Rich! He sure does. Muhahahaha! 8) Don't forget what happened to the mythical Phoenix everyone. Afer the flames of being banned have subsided, don't be suprised people when he rises up from the ashes, if he hasn't done so already.
Re: The Disciples of Phone Scoop/DPS
Ok Rich.
The Disciples of Phone Scoop/DPS
Here's what I'm going to do from now on people. Instead of letting the whole Phone Scoop forum members know I've reported their thread, I'll just PM them so that particular person will know I, along with about 11 other people including raycarroll70, will silently be persuing the Phone Scoop forum on the look out for not only rogue employees of the companies we work for, but those threads we feel may be violating the TOUs. It's up to ...
Re: Perhaps the moderators could clear this up for me
I don't even consider myself a moderator at all OrangeGuy. I feel PhoneScoop was meant to be Family Friendly as the moderators stated in the TOUs. You used vulgarity/obscenity in your thread which is why I reported it. Eric Lin even said that if a particular thread violates the TOUs, anyone can report it which I exercised my right to do so. I'm suprised too that they didn't delete your orignal thread. :(

Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
Good one Ray. BTW, I reported some OrangeGuy earlier for using an obscene/vulgar word in this forum. I hope the moderators see it and promptly delete it as I too support Family Friendly forums like yourself so you're not watch dogging Phone Scoop alone.
Re: Lay down the War Hammer...
I now work for EMBARQ in their corporate security department on auditing projects. I should give credit to raycarroll70 as he's the one who first paraphrased the "You Got Mail" phrase here at Phone Scoop. LOL!
Re: Lay down the War Hammer...
I started back in December '06 had been a pre-merger Nextel retail store. I'm so thankful I transferred to a pre-merger Sprint retail one. Personally, I prefer CDMA and really try to encourage and steer existing customers as well as potential iDEN ones to the PowerSource handsets. When I worked in the pre-merger Nextel retail store, my mix was 85% CDMA/10% Boost Mobile (didn't carry any Virgin Mobile) & 5% iDEN. No matter how you look at it, CDMA ...
Re: Someone please help me understand this......
Here's what you can expect if you don't pay the $15.00/month for the Sprint Vision/Power Vision Access Pack
1. Each of those wonderful picture you take will cost you roughly $6.00 a piece to send as well as receive.
2. As you are browsing through various websites on your handset, you are get charged approximately $0.10/second.
3. It'll cost you an estimated $30.00 to download just 1 whole music song track.
Get ready buddy to fork out some serious dough if you want ...
Re: Steer clear of the Sprint PowerSource handsets!!!

Steer clear of the Sprint PowerSource handsets!!!
Here's what I know about Sprint Nextel Inc.'s PowerSource handsets, the Motorola ic402 and ic502. Both of them will only operate on 1900 MHz (PCS) CDMA 1xRTT wireless networks for voice and data services as well as the 850 MHz iDEN network for PTT so if you take either of these two PowerSource handsets somewhere that is 850 MHz CDMA 1xRTT, you will have no service for either voice nor data. The iDEN PTT may still work provided an ...
Re: RIP
Even though I haven't worked for Sprint Nextel. Inc. since May 2006 when my division, the local telephone division, was spun off and became EMBARQ under the leadership of Dan Hesse, the former President and CEO of AT&T Wireless Inc., I still believe in their products and services. Not all of their customers are idiots. The wireless industry is driven by ARPU and customers on basic and/or low price rate plans have little value to a carrier and often ...
Re: RIP
Good riddance to you. If you drop the "S" at the beginning of your forum name, that is what you truly sound like for making such blanket statements regarding the customer care department of Sprint. People do make mistakes you know. To err is human. To forgive is divine.
Re: Ooo a Good port In Story
I'm so thankful line number portability came into effect back in November of 2003.
Re: anybody else slow today?
Will you be lead to the gallows to hang by your neck until dead once your store closes down on Tuesday or are you transferring to another one nearby?
Re: Sprint phones for sale cheap
:o I thought no solicitations were allowed at Phone Scoop!
Way to go Sprint Nextel!!! Kudos to all!

Digitmasher, count your blessings. 5k wish they could...
I was in a similar boat last year when I worked in one of the Sprint land line(LEC) retail stores in sales. We basically were told that our stores were getting spun off to become a new company with the leadership of Dan R. Hesse(former AT&T Wireless President & CEO) at the helm since Sprint Nextel had to divest one of it's business units and seeing how land line didn't play into the big scheme of things for them, ...
Re: What Ray?
You evil little man(or woman) as the case may be. :P
Re: Here's a boot in the butt for you Nic Grenanda. Hope you enjoy.
What the article appears to be saying is if you roam off Sprint's National CDMA wireless network greater than 50% of the time for two consecutive months, your wireless service with Sprint will be terminated with the ETF being waived. Just imagine if you received one of these letters and had purchased the Palm Treo 700p/wx or the PPC-6700 two months ago. You know what the current buy back from Sprint is on either of the two devices? Can ...
Re: What Ray?
Who said he tried? :) You do realize that the IPs of the forum postings here at Phone Scoop are traceable and all a wireless carrier regardless of who it is can have their legal department serve Phone Scoop's parent company, Phone Factor LLC with a subpoena for a particular forum member's posted thread along with their IP. The IP then would be traced to the ISP who in turn could very well be served. I assure you ...

Re: Blackjack is FUBAR
This forum thread would have been best posted either in the Cingular Wireless, Samsung or Wireless Data one. You very well may have to have the software flashed to restore it to OEM.
Re: Vista and Windows Mobile incompatibility
Until Windows Mobile 6.0 launchs, you won't be able to interface or synchronize data with your wireless data devices which currently run Windows Mobile 5.x or below with PCs running any of the Vista versions.
Re: When will MOIP be available???
If you're referring to Mobile Originated Internet Protocol, I'm sure it'll be deployed once wireless carriers implement 3.5 and/or 4G as Sprint Nextel is doing with their 1xEV-DO Rev A(3.5G) across their 1xEV-DO Rev o(3G) and with WiMax(4G) when they tentatively start their trial runs in Chicago and Washington DC in 4Q'07. I wouldn't be surprised if Sprint Nextel turns to Qualcom for their QChat.
