The storm is a quadband phone and supports the att bands.
I just called vzw and they gave me an unlock code poped in my sim an vwalla but its only on edge as it doesnt support att 3g or even have wifi

i consider this a downgrade of the katana 2,
The screen is smaller, the internal screen resolution is less, external screen is not color, and the Katana 2 is much thinner and it looks a million times better

There are certain features on the unlocked v8 that the tmobile version doesnt have such as reading u a text message, reading a text on outside screen, replying without opening.... etc. there are much more that i cant recall

Your friend doesnt have to jump as its possible to unlock the iphone for use with tmobile just like my family has it. And theres way to fix no mms and most problems with the iphone

yes because tmobile doesnt primarily use that band as att does. However there might be a few ROAMING areas that it wont work. My uncle has it in LA and it works perfectly for him

Its a sick phone headed to alltel. ITs bascially the same voyager touch screen in a shine body with a sliding numeric keypad IT looks sick. Id never think id say that about an alltel phone

Tmobile is buying Suncom will they be able to offer any of their phone such as the SE k550,K790 BB 8820 or the nokia 6300? Id love to see these phones on tmobile so i can have a little veriety because quite frankly the phones tmobile has right now arnt all that interesting

It works just like it would on att except the visual voicemail which isnt that special. It will go on your plan just like any other unlocked phone and you can use tmobile edge even with the 6$ tzones package.

I love tmobile but have to agree that their phone selection is lackluster. What is comming up for them besides the rokr e8? Im due for an upgrade in april. I really like the razr2 but the tmobile version is crippled in the menu and features. So which new phone is comming out thats worth my time?
