I am wondering what all the hype was about.
My Droid X doesn't seem any faster and my battery doesn't seem to last any longer. I too think the color changes are blah and there is twice as much lag when accessing the voice commands.
This was supposed to be an upgrade, right? :?
Launcher Pro crashes my Droid X
I installed Launcher Pro, but it only runs for about 10 minutes before my phone freezes and I have to do a battery pull. Do I have something set wrong?

I have mine set just that way, but last weekend I crossed over to a different time zone where I had set up appointments for the actual times thinking that the phone would adjust only the time on the phone but not the appointments. It changed all my appointments by 1 hour (the difference between my zone and the one I was in). I had to reschedule all my appointments to the correct time in that time ...
Upgrade to Storm 2 or Droid?
I have a Storm 1 and it's a good phone except for 1 thing... the internet. Accessing the internet is painful on this phone even with other browsers. I played with a Droid, internet is amazing by comparison.
Blackberry is terrific in so many ways and internet is not the most important function on my phone but it shouldn't be frustrating.
Should I upgrade to a Storm 2 or look for something else?

Is the 5.0.0.230 a big improvement over the 4.7.0.167 and would you recommend switching?

Have you tried 4.7.0.167? I've been running it for 4 weeks and It's very good. I haven't found anything that doesn't work and it's MUCH faster.
Lag is almost imperceptible. I only do a battery pull about once a week and that's usually just a precautionary measure.

If you haven't tried v.4.7.0.167,give it a try. It made an amazing difference with my Storm.

Can anyone share their insight to the calendar functions of the Env 9900. I need a phone that has decent functions (appointments, reminders, etc.).

Does it sync with Outlook for calendar, contacts and tasks? And how about MS Office documents?
