Re: thunderbolt getting worse

I just got off the phone with HTC cause I hadn't received the update yet and the rep told me they stopped it due to all the rebooting problems and that they are working on a fix. I don't know what I'd do if I was in your shoes, probably go back to Verizon and demand a new phone,I'm sure they'd replace it for you.

Still waiting

Has everyone gotten the last update? Im still waiting for it. I want to root but I want to wait for the update and it's taking forever.

Supposedly Verizon is aware and is replacing those bolts that have received the update and are now randomly rebooting.

If im not mistaken you have to be rooted to be able to do those things. When I had my X i was rooted and i used an app called Shoot Me to take screen shots. Check youtube to see how to change the start up

It's a Damn Shame

Its a shame that the only way I can get any kind of decent battery life is to turn off the 4G Lte. Since i have done that I have just about doubled my battery life but then what's the point of having a 4g phone if i cant use the freakin 4g?

I've had mine for a few days now and boy the battery life really stinks. It's hard for me to believe they put such a puny battery in this phone. It doesn't make sense except that they must want everyone to rush out and purchase an extended battery, cause those guys ain't dumb. other then that im enjoying the phone

On the reverse side,my green light continues to blink a while even after the text or email was read.Im not having a problem with my power button,if yours is too flush with the phone you should go to the verizon store and compare it with amother one. Also mine randomly reboots every once in a while....

I think the T-Bolts front facing is only a vga while the Bionic has a 2mp,plus the screen resolution is better on the Bionic. The Bionic is postioned as a higher-end phone. I had to replace my Incredible with a Droid X because the HTC's reception wasn't as good. I could barely make a call inside, and I had 2 of the INCs,problem was solved with the X.

Menno I hear what you're saying but about 20 minutes after i paused the stock music player it was still there. So just for fun i loaded ATK and it wont kill the app unless you long press the music player and select kill. And i wish i understood how android works as I don't understand how random apps keep popping up. I will clear all apps then immediately go back in to find apps like amazon, skype and other ...

Ok so i've been reading about how the task killer is not needed and even harmful to my beloved X so i thought i'd see how it goes without it. I was driving myself crazy closing apps every time I did something my head was about to explode. My question is that I listen to a lot of music. How long will the music player continue to run since I can no longer "turn it off"? Thanks guys and ...

No problem, glad to help. The phone fits easily into my back pocket because it it so thin. I probably would not have bought it if it was thick,so I think they did a great job with that design.

I agree with Matt. When i saw it online compared to similar phones i said no way i'm gettin that huge monster. After one day with it i fell in love with it,the screen is amazing and there's no way I could own anything else now, the X has spoiled me. I came from an iph*one then an Incredible(another great phone)to the X and I'm glad I did.
