With www.mytinyphone.com and www.free-ringtones.ie you have to save the file(s) to your computer then email the file(s) to your cell (your10digitnumber@vzwpix.com) then when you get the message you can choose "options" then "save as ringtone" otherwise the sites will charge you a monthly fee. You can save alot of work by using www.phonezoo.com which lets you do pictures or tones (both pre-loaded and make-your-own) and it's free. I've used all three sites for years.....have not paid for tones in ...

Boulder won't learn words in T9 mode....need help

I have a Verizon Wireless Casio C711 Boulder that I'm having difficulty teaching new words to as I text. All my previous phones (and I've had quite a few  ) just seemed to add the words into the handset dictionary automatically once I went to the "abc" mode and typed it in. This new Boulder isn't learning from me. I am constantly having to go from "T9" back to "abc" to type in the very same ...

Try this: (1) visit a website like mytinyphone.com or free-ringtones.ie on the Omnia. (2) find a tone you'd like. (3) click on either the "save to pc" or "click here to play" link. (4) choose the folder you'd like to save it in and rename the file if you'd like (5) if you want to use your download as a tone other than a ring tone (such as a messaging tone), you will have to save the file ...

Yes, it is a known issue. Please take your Env to your nearest store with a technician. There are two different kinds of "upgrades" available for the EnV's that a technician should perform on your phone. One is a "software upgrade", and the other is a "software patch". Both should help you immensely. The entire process a technician goes through takes about 30-45 minutes.

Re: Is this possible?
Apr 15, 2008, 4:58 PM

Technically, it IS possible. If you subscribe to the unlimited messaging for family share plans, the cost is $30 higher than just having the basic plan (minutes only). Any qualified customer service representative can block text messaging on any of the secondary lines on any family share that has the unlimited messaging. For instance, if you are the one doing all the texting and you are the primary line, then with the unlimited messaging plan you would have unlimited ...

How much training do you get as a new employee? I am a customer of ATT, but work for the competition. We put our new employees through several hundred hours of online training, and an average of 50 hours of classroom training per year. That's not including the hands-on training that they do before they are turned loose on the customers. Then, they are on a 30-90 day probation period. How does that compare with your training?

Saw the detailed bill online and printed it. Also got the real bill in the mail the same day which was a condensed version. I went over it with a fine-toothed-comb and a highlighter.

Ah, yes! I can vouch for that! :D Some people really don't understand that if there is an error they should research why there is an error and fix that right along with getting the customer the credit. I see it every day, and I usually get stuck being the one to go back in to see why it's still going all wrong even though they got their credit.... It's just that I work for the competition and ...

Well, I questioned that. We went over all 40+ pages of my bill, and was assured that I was indeed charged for data usage to transfer pictures/videos. :? Oh, and was also charged for 11 picture messages @ $.25 each even though the unlimited plan was in effect. Yes, I agree that there seems to be an error.....

:) Dear God I hope you're right! You would think that the data charges for sending those pictures and videos would be something that is included in your package! I looked on the ATT website, and it does say that if you have an unlimited package that you are not charged any more. You know I work for "the competitors", and our unlimited text is unlimited. Period. And you don't have to have the internet to send/receive those pictures ...

And I am not disputing the fact that it is alot of data. I do have four phones, two teenagers, and my husband works out of town. This is our only means of communication. Landlines are out of the question since we are never home. I just wanted to know if this has ever happened to anyone else. I mean, I went from everything (TXT & internet) being blocked on all the lines to unlimited text. Nobody said anything ...

I just got a $1500 phone bill from Cingular aka The New AT&T. :o It seems that even though I added the unlimited family texting plan to cover all four of my lines, I am still responsible for all the kb usage it takes to download or upload all the picture/video messages that we receive/send. Why is that? I thought, like I'm sure many many other customers do, that if you ...

www.free-ringtones.ie After saving the ringtone file to your computer, you send that file (attached in email) to yourself as a TXT/PIX message. The email address to your phone is your 10 digit # @vzwpix.com. Then when you open the message on your phone, choose options, save as ringtone. Works with pictures too.

What format are the songs in that you are trying to put on your Razr? The Razr will only playback songs that are in the Windows Media Player 10 format, and will not playback music from the iTunes format.
