This is now 6-month old tech. Why the delay?

It's lame that they pre-load it with so much CRAP. My Galaxy S 4G needs a reboot about once a day because there' so much bloatware crapping it up. I am very tempted to root it, I just haven't had time and it's my business phone so I don't want to brick it. I wanted this Galaxy S II but even though it had just launched, it wasn't available in the US in February. Lame. Here we are six months ...

Does anyone actually WANT DirectConnect/PTT?

It's most juts obnoxious when used by anyone other than emergency personnel. I don't know any regular folks who still uses it anymore.

Yeah same BS as the 8400 which I have now. One day there'll be a proper phone that lets you set your ringtone to an mp3 on your memory card.

mp3s work but you can only access ringtones on the internal memory

the phone is neutered to prevent you from accessing ringtones (mp3s, midi, whatever format) you have on the microSD card. Very annoying.

Only works with phone's internal memory, not microSD

Thing is, the phone is neutered so it doesn't allow you to access mp3s on the microSD card to use as ringtones. Very annoying.

More helpful would be being able to use mp3s put on the microSD card as ringtones.

Still can't figure out how to do this and since BitPim doesn't support the 8400, there's nothing I've found yet that fixes this problem. :(

SOMEONE must know where to find software that will allow user to upload ringtones to 8400's sdcard??

I'm really frustrated that I have yet to find software or a way with the USB cable for the phone to upload mp3s to the sd memory card that I can then use as ringtones. Please someone post a link to such software that actually works. BitPim just released a new version yesterday and it STILL doesn't work with the 8400 via USB cable. :( :( :( :(

What site ACTUALLY HAS batteries in stock for the 8400?

I can't find a single place to buy a second battery, let alone an extended battery.
