There is a freeware package called SUPER@ that quickly and simply converts almost any type of video file into other formats that will play on the D807 (also converts for playback on PSP, Ipod, and a bunch of other devices. Use the Nokia GP3 format for the D807. I used the default settings and they work fine. I tried converting some Nero MP4 videos. They converted, but the audio gets out of sync. Since the phone isn't my main MP3 player, and I'll usually be using the phone's speaker, you don't need high bit rate mp3s. I copied about 100 songs into a directory and converted them to variable bitrate with a 112kb average. They sound fine on the speakers ( and sound pretty good on the headphones) and took up about a total of 300MB. I also put on the first episode of Lost (about 60MB). Still ...

I just use my finger nail to press in on it a little and it springs out enough to get a grip on it. Basically it works like all SD cards. It's just tiny.

You can get the earbuds on ebay for about $10. Search on 'samsung d807' But better yet you can also find an adapter that plugs into the D807 and has a 3.5mm female stereo socket on the other end. That way you can plugin any headphones you might have or even get a male/male patch cord and plug it into your car stereo or external speakers. I've made several MP3 ringtones. The main requirement is that they have to be under 600KB. I usually use a wav/mp3 editoe such as Nero's wave editor. I load the mp3 and then delete all but the part I'm interested in. I usually do a fade in and fade out as well as pump up the volume. I then save the file as a mono file at about 22,500 sample rate and 32 kbs to 48kbs. ...
