Sprint and Verizon disable the wi-fi on purpose. If wi-fi is a dealbreaker, your best bet is to get a BlackBerry phone through at&t or T-Mobile, where most (if not all) of their recent BlackBerry phones have wi-fi.

I agree, with the exception of the Alltel e815, which never gave me a problem. I can't say the same for the service. Good thing Verizon bought them out.

I really don't see a difference between the 8520 and the 8900, minus the outside. I switch phones a lot, but might just keep this one.

The 8520 is the business (non-ghetto meaning: it's the best to date)! I haven't used a finer Blackberry than this, let alone any phone.

I've only been able to create an ad from a Sidekick (2008, in particular). Windows Mobile phones can't do it, either.
