Thanks for your short and authoritative response, HYPNOTIZD, any suggestions? I can do the file transfer with a USB but can't seem to make my V710 "discoverable" in Bluetooth. Are any other SEEMS needing tweaked besides 041a, off 6a, bit 0? I had a V710 that worked fine until one day it just ceased connecting with the service provider. I suspected a pushed Firmware upgrade but was unable to confirm that. I was on the road ...

Are there certain models or vintages of the V710 where it is absolutely impossible to use Bluetooth file transfer in Mobile Phone Tools even after applying SD fixes? Is there a particular level of Firmware required to use Bluetooth file transfer in MPT?

If, as the phone specs say, the A840 is not Bluetooth capable, why are there Bluetooth drivers listed for the A840 in Motorola's Mobile Phone Tools? Is something being hidden again here?
