so i have had this phone for a while but i want to know if you can make alert tones for txt messaging and stuff i dont think that you can but if so and you could tell me that would be amazing!

and that is y this phone is not worth buying! the sprint PCS digital network is not great by any means i would even go out to say that the nextel IDen network is a little better.

I have found the battery to be ok at best it is a standard samsung battery, it's about the only thing on the whole phone that is samsung stock equipment. your best bet is to put the display settings to a minimum it last me about 2 days this way but its impossible to text in dark places. I talk on my phone an avg of 3 hours a day and i charge it once everyother day.

the biggest card it is appoved for it 540 but i have heard that the 1 gig works also...

i have normal plastic ones too retail 20 but we sell them alot less i think there is about everything for them out now excluding a usb adapter

Ok before i get this phone i want to know if the external screen shows caller id im assuming that it does but its such a small screen that i cant be sure. soo if you have this phone or know anyone who has this phone PLEASE tell me.

is the camera on it a swivel like on the a900? i haven't seen one yet my warehouse refuses to send one and i want to get it but if it isn't a camera where i can see myself talking a picture of myself then forget about it.

Ok i have been looking at the M610 and it looks like a great phone, besides the lack of a decent display on the outside the phone looks amazing? am i right in thinking this is the M1 better?

can u use an unlocked sidekick 3 with nextel?

i got the converter to work and added the .3gp to the "video" folder but the phone isnt seeing it.. do i look for it in the media center to play it..??

what media format does the 580 identify to play in the media center for videos..?? i have been on the phone with NEXTEL customer service and they told me it supports .mp4 and .mpeg.. so i downloaded a few videos that were of those formats.. and the phone never found the files on the memory card.. so i called up motorola techsupport and the only part of info they could tell me is the phone only supports video files from 8 to 30 secs long.. but ...
