Re: Not a world phone?
Would u happen to know when the GSM version of this phone is going to be released and whether it'll support TMO and/or AT&T's 3G networks?
T-Mobile Compatible?
Can this phone utilize T-mo's 3G network?
Also, where can i purchase this phone other than ebay?
Can it be used on the T-Mobile network?
If i were to buy this phone from AT&T, contract-free, and activate it through T-mobile, will i lose out on any features or experience any frequency issues?
Can this phone support T-Mobile's 3G network?
HVGA display?
Does anyone have any information regarding the sunlight legibility of an HVGA screen?
Im curious as to how clear the screen is in direct sunlight. (not that i'll be exposing it to the sun constantly, but i do go outside every so often)

For those out there that choose not to read it, Car & Driver is doing a very basic experiment in a closed course: Drive in a straight line & keep a look out for a red light that is placed over the dash under the windshield that the passenger will activate. This red light will illuminate & represent a vehicle braking in front of the driver.
The experiment records the results of normal driving conditions (i.e. ...

Re: 3G for At&T??
umm....that kinda didnt answer my question :)
Maybe i didn't clarify somewhere (my apologies for that). My original question was, since AT&T's 3G network allows for voice & data at the same time, does T-Mobile's 3G network have that same capability.
If so, I feel, that the Nexus One truly will be the next big thing.
If not, well....I still like the Nexus One. :D
Re: 3G for At&T??
Question: If voice & data work simutaneously on a 3G network, would that mean that it can work on t-mobile's 3G network? I ask because i have not seen any tv ads boast about that feature like the way AT&T does.
Video capture?
Dumb question, but does the curve take videos? I know you can watch videos, but what about recording videos?
Re: Help for turning on bluetooth with broken screen

Re: T-Mobile use?
lol....after a couple of hours of research, look at what i found http://www.slashphone.com/95/7633.html I answered my own question.
T-Mobile use?
I know everyone is totally satisfied with their BB Curve and service plans off AT&T. I'm curious about if anyone has attempted to use this for T-mobile. I just renewed my contract with them never really thinking that something this awesome was ever gonna come out. Is it worth paying early term. fees and attempt to get a contract with AT&T? Is it cheaper to buy the Curve and stick with T-mobile? What is everyone's take on this?
Re: Contacts double on screen
Not sure if this will help any but here it goes anyway: I have an e730 and this particular option exists. Phonebook->management->default saving. Hopefully this helps somewhat as i come to find that most samsungs have the same or similar menus. When using the camera on the d900, is there anyway you can see yourself on the screen if you face the phone to yourself? Kind of like the flip-phones with their external screen.
