Getting a MicroSD memory card is definitely a *MUST* for owners of Pearls or Curves. If you're running 3rd-party applications, or, receive a lot of SMS / Emails, your phone will quickly run out of memory... thus leading to the automatic deletion of messages to free up some space. Search eBay for 1gb MicroSD cards... definitely a cheap investment worth having. Pearls will easily handle 4gb cards, while Curves can handle 6gb cards as long as you have the latest ...

Re: Dust Under the Screen

The dust problem is perhaps one of the most annoying gripes I have about the Curve. I bought one of those silicone case thingies that fit around the Curve and found that to help a lot. A little bit of dust still manages to get under the screen, but definitely not as much. Apart from disassembling the faceplate for cleaning, this is the only viable solution I've found which decently works. The silicone case is a nice addition anyway since ...

preppy... use the USB cable supplied with your phone (or buy one if you didn't have one supplied). Hook it up to your phone and computer, then simply upload it.

larue26 is exactly right... be sure it's stored in the actual phone memory instead of the sim card. I ran into the same problem before I realized the mistake I had made regarding my phonebook/contacts. This goes the same for any pictures you plan to use to display when a certain person calls. It needs to be stored within the phone's memory. :)

Zznacid.... where did you get your phone from? Some European models did not come with iTunes, but to my knowledge all US phones do. My SLVR L7 came with iTunes and a 512mb SD microdrive.

Re: hack 100 limit songs?

If you're too lazy to search for the hacking software(s) (like I often am), here it is... http://www.themotoguide.com/index.ph p?PID=ab36344d8f&PGID=oEQ9COYxzK Took me less than 20 minutes to complete the entire process. Honestly speaking, while it's always nice to have MORE MORE MORE, I think the 100 song limit is more than enough. I currently have 214 songs on my "hacked" SLVR, and even then I never really listen to all of it. In fact, I've actually been deleting quite a few over the ...

Another trimming software to try is "Audacity" (do a search for it on google). It's very well-known, totally free and very easy to use (much easier to me than MP3Trimmer by a longshot). Lots of great features that allows you to add your own effects, fade-in or fade-out portions, adjust gain level, eliminate background noise, change speed or pitch levels, etc. Probably more features than the average user would need. I use it to trim all my mp3's down to ...
