The website says this phone won't use skype.. I thought that was the point of the front facing camera.. Someone please advise!

For anyone out there who has already received the upgrade, I want to know if there are any great features that are crippled. Such as, being able to save sounds from text messages as ringers.... I love this feature and do not want to lose it for speakerphone.. Its just a thought cause I know u usually don't get something for nothing..

I have tried different places, specifically amazon.com i don't have all the songs i want as ringtones so the premade clips are easier for me.. i tried to use funformobile and couldn't figure it out either.. I am really not an idiot I just don't know what I am doing wrong

I desperately need someones help... I know how to send files to myself once I have saved them, but I can't seem to get them in the right format or something when I save... I am right clicking saving target as and then the files aren't working.HELP!!

i see what u mean, and found the file, but it is recorded as a dat file.. how do i get it out of temp int. files and send it to my phone???? thanks for all of ur help by the way. :D

I just really like the choices on walmart.com. :cry: Is there any way to take them from Windows Media Player once they are playing?

So apparently the walmart.com site no longer allows you to save ringtones by right click and save target as so that u can email them.. This was the fastest way 4 me to do it and i am wondering if there are any other sites. Any help?

Thanks for the info.. I really just wanted one banner color- purple. The one that is missing :( It's ok about the animations though because I usually use pics or video for that anyway.. I was just wanting the one with the horoscope signs like the 8300. :)

So I have been waiting for this phone since I saw the initial FCC approval on phonescoop.. I read all of the reviews from people who had gotten the phone immediately off the internet. My #1 pet peeve with Verizon phones has been the universal menu with the red banners. Then the 8300 came out and I loved the customization, fun animations, colors for the banners, etc..
