I am alive still, but barely :D How have you been? I haven't been posting much because I find it a bit difficult to keep up! But this one had to be posted for everyone's enjoyment! And here's the kicker - there wasn't even liquid damage on the phone! He wasn't trying to dry it out! That's the part that blows my mind. It'd be one thing if the phone was effed up to begin with, but it wasn't. ...

Dude comes into the store because his phone isn't working. Dude is mad because his phone has "died", even though he took "such good care of it! I didn't drop it or nothin'" Rep grabs phone from dude, and notices that phone is warped (as in, the outer plastic cover is wavy). Rep asks dude WTF happened to the phone. Dude says "Oh! Well about three months into owning it, the screen went white, and I found that if I left it ...

Sprint Naviagation?

Why is the screen shot on the device a shot of Sprint Navigation if it's a phone for AT&T? Just an interesting thought...

OF COURSE they're making the reps wait...the perk of having a free cell phone bill has to come with some downsides, after all. On the bright side, though, we'll be able to learn about any known issues or difficulties customers have before we decide to drop $xxx.xx on the device. 8O

Sprint's New Comp Plan. Thoughts?
Jun 17, 2008, 3:29 PM
in the Shop Talk forum

Hey kids. :D Just wanted to stop in and see what my fellow Sprint reps thoughts were about our new comp plan coming out in July. I think it sounds good. I hate the fact that it's team-based CSAT, however I think it will promote better teamwork in the stores. What are the thoughts from the rest of the class? 8)

You could have the rep AND the custie be Swans! And by the end of the call they could find out they were twins seperated at birth! Too far? Perhaps... :paranoid:

My friend Kevin does the best Ms. Swan impression I've ever heard in my life! We were at payless one time, and he was talking in the Swan voice, and a random lady poked her head around the aisle and said "Ms. Swan?!"...it was magical    "He looka like a MAN..."

I definitely think Sprint's products and services are superior, but our customer service is in the toilet. I have to say, though...after almost 3 years with the company and countless initiatives that were designed to "improve our positioning", I think Sprint is finally getting the hint. They're revamping our comp plan, our customer care, and giving the reps the ability to own the customer's issues at the point of sale to make it a one stop fix. Don't get me ...

Um...no, actually, I don't see any difference. Plenty of us post WHEN our stores/centers are dead strictly BECAUSE they're dead and we're bored. And if you have any history on this forum, you'd know that Nikoletta is always an entertaining poster who writes mostly about customers. Who cares if she wants to post about her lack of customers for a change?

Yeah, there's nothing really barring it from me, per say, but I'm worried about it making my job uncomfortable. I'm mostly wondering if anyone else has had good/bad experiences with the whole thing... And, like I said before, I'm a crappy flirt. I feel like I revert to 15 years old any time a guy looks my way

My Advantage Club is already full! I'm just mostly worried about the potential uncomfortableness factor if it doesn't go well, you know? Oh, and I suck and being a flirt...I'm completely oblivious, so this whole thing has kinda blindsided me!

What are your thoughts on dating a customer? I suppose I should give you some background...Customer came into my store a week ago and activated with me. Had a TON of issues with porting in his number, and over the course of the last week he's spent 8-10 hours in my store while I've been on the phone and such working his issue, so we've had plenty of time to chat. Similar interests, yadda yadda yadda... Well, since I had ...

I just searched for it on the Sprint Music Store, and they have lots of Throwdown songs, but unfortunately not that one...bummer! I love when bands from opposite genres cover songs...like Reel Big Fish doing broadway show tunes. It's always such a nice fresh perspective. And hell, who doesn't love "Baby Got Back"?! :D Now I know who to blame when I find myself singing "..deep in the jeasns she's wearin', hooked and I can't stop starin'..." ...

Define "big fat raise", and we'll see 8) So I'm betting that's a hardcore version of "Movin' on Up" from the Jefferson's, right? I hope it is, 'cause that would kick a lot of a$$.

It came with a decent raise, nothing I'm gonna go around dancing about but a little padding for the pockets. I'm just psyched to finally be able to have some say in what goes down. I'm really hoping I can help our store to be a better place to work, but we'll see. I'm hoping I can use this as motivation to get back in the "game" of this industry. :D

YES WAY! I got a promotion! :D :D :D Yippee! I'm now a lead at my store, which I know isn't a huge deal, but I've been in a tiny store for two and a half years waiting for the opportunity to move up and it finally happened. Looks like for once my patience has paid off! I can only hope everyone else is having a good day too, but seeing as it's Monday I doubt ...

I know, you guys are right. It's tough to feel confident and comfortable in your job when it feels like your bigwigs are throwing darts at a board to figure out what your objectives should be. And I know the whole situation is way more complicated than I give it credit for - if it wasn't, I'd be the CEO by now - but keeping the faith gets more difficult by the day. Now, don't get me wrong. I don't fear change. I even enjoy it. It's part of what makes working in this industry bearable. New phones, new applications, new technology...I enjoy all of it. What I don't enjoy is when a company can't get their footing and they constanty try new and ridiculous things to make it work. I'm not talking about being innovative, or thinking outside the box. I'm talking about the way they keep throwing out random objectives ...

I didn't say that the person was wrong, I simply said that the company doesn't make sense. There's no need to reiterate when there's no one contradicting you.

I know that it doesn't include PAM, but why couldn't you add the full price attachment? I can't see why Sprint would say "No, we won't allow you to pay us an extra $40 a month for an additional service." That's not to say you're wrong, it just doesn't make sense to me.

At this point, I don't think it can be added as a "bundled" portion of the plan, however you should be able to add it to the Simply Everything plan for it's normal cost of $39.99. As far as the plan codes go, are you working in P2K or Ensemble?
