you can add it to a existing plan or account. I had a single account then we switched to the family plan and at that point we added 3 phones that were all metroflashed.

You have this problem when every you flash a phone, you need to find the WAP and MMS settings so you can change them on the phone to work with cricket.

If metropcs can flash the phone they will be able to bring it on their network with out a problem, they can also port your old number from whatever carrier you had before.

I guess we will have to wait and see I am split right now. I really like both but for some reason I think the iphone is going to have a better browser because it is based off of safari.

That is inaccurate, you can unlock verizon phones. Metropcs is doing it and you can now take sprint, verizon, and alltel phone on metropcs network.

I have not tried it yet, I am buying a used helio ocean tomorrow and I am going to and flash it at the store along with a virgin mobile phone I had laying around the house. Then go to the family plan and see how it works out. I will update you guys tomorrow on how it all worked out.

I just went to my local corporate store and they said they are able to flash most CDMA phones(except for smart phones). I have heard they charge $35 activation but the guy I talked to at the store told me $33.36. He said they can do it in the same day and you can keep your same account and phone number if you want.

Yea this does not seem factual at all, and if it was true that would be crazy and almost monopolistic.
