Re: Cost?
@ artgrrrl
Ummmm...the phone retails for $299.99. With the sprint phone upgrade program, your savings comes off the retail price. So, that makes the phone $149.99 AFTER your phone upgrade savings.
Re: CDMA BJ?
Lol @ CDMA "BJ".....that is all.
ummm...
That has to be the single fugliest contraption my eyes have wittnessed in quite a while.
SPRINT!!!!
I am now officially angered. I have a Sprint Moto Q, and I'm pretty sure they are not going to offer the update, especially not for free.
Good Idea
This sounds like a great idea, but I'm somewhat of a conspiracy theorist, when it comes to things like this. I just highly doubt it would make it to market.

Finally, someone else who believes in the theory of, "survival of the fittest." We should definitely bring it back.

Re:USB Questions
     , but seriously there is no cable in the box, which lets me know that Samsung, in all of their corporate wisdom, wants you to spend $30.00 on a friggin proprietary cable. Even if you have an old Sammy cable it won't work.
Re: Actual photos available at this site
I think it looks pretty good. I'm a CDMA subscriber, surely with no hopes of ever seeing this phone, but I'm very excited to see this handset come stateside.
Re: People skills!!!!!!!!
I know it's a dead subject, but just to add my two cents. Here at Sprint, most of my reps are pretty nice. We're all generally pretty neutral, but as soon as we sense the first symptoms of an a-hole, guess what happens? All I have to say ladies and gentlemen, is trust me, you will not, and cannot win in an a-hole contest with a wireless rep. He can make your day a whole hell of ...
Great Idea!
The subject pretty much sums up my opinion of the subject matter at hand.
Re: Anyone know when this might be released?
:D We just received both the silver and red ones today
Re: Change the name
I think I'll remain standing on this one MBA. You have your opinions, and I am entitled to mine.
Re: Change the name
...Um, ok, so you didn't find the "chocolate" moniker of their last product to be offensive. Come on man, I'm an African American. Nigerian, of the Ebo tribe to be exact. I think we're all getting a little too sensitive about the wrong subject matter. How about being up at arms about subjects that matter instead...

Re: Carrier
 um...yeah...I'd have to disagree with you on that one bud. There have been several "cool" LG phones that have not, and will most likely never see release on VZW.
Re: Carrier
You silly Americans, and your rock-em-sock-em robots, and your moby grape, and your music television.
Re: I dont get it RICH/ERIC
Dude, I don't know what type of sex ed classes were offered where you grew up, but I think we all know that it only takes one sexual encounter to contract the disease. Whether you have one partner, or one thousand, we are all at risk.

Dude, you're the moron. Verizon does change phones, all the time. They just tell the manufacturer what they want changed, and the manufacturer changes it to accomodate them. That's the CARRIER changing the phone, no matter who actually molds the faceplate or colors the plastic.
Last time you went to Taco Bell and had them CHANGE your burrito so that it didn't have sour cream on it, did you go behind the counter and do it?
Word
Why???????
/;| Why in sam-hell does VZW keep changing the asthetic appeal of the chocolate phones when they come staeside? Where is the alternating colored keypad and "CHOCOLATE" color?
Re: no!!!!!
Creo que no, para Verizon esta telephono cellular mal.
Re: could smeone tell me when the second half is ?
/;| Let's see...you take...twelve months..in...a year, and...oh, Dammit! This is hard. Twelve...months.........carry the one, and......GOT IT! The answer is, 42. I pray you are not a Sprint customer, and that you never cross the threshold of my store bud. JK, stop by and ask a dumbass question whenever you like.
Re: ok wtf
...And thus begins the reign of Motorola, bwah ha haa
Re: this is what ive been whating for
Yeah, I'm sure Mr. Laurer probably saw the "chocolate" commercial and got jealous.

Re: What the hell is wrong with SPRINT???
Different phones do tend to "wow" different people. On the same token, consumers as a whole are in a "me too" state of mind. Average mobile phone user sees another average mobile phone user on the new glossy thin phone, and guess what? They want the same thing. Everyone knows that the industry is all about supply and demand, and blah blah blah. Sprint needs to focus more on what will satiate the consumers ...
Re: Is it a RAZOR!!!!!
Protege said:
It looks like a razr with a different color and a slightly different front plate... I mean it even has the same bulge at the bottom as the RAZR... /;|
The "bulge" at the bottom is actually the antenna. Placing the antenna at the bottom of the phone prevents people from placing their hand on, or in the antenna area, which is known to hinder signal strength, and the overall performance of the phone.
Re: whose got the scoop?
The LX-550 is going to be $179.99 with a two year agreement. The SRP is $329.99. It launches the week of 5/28/06.
