Re: Nokia 5300 Operating System
I know its the latest version of s40
so i'm assuming its s40v3? anyways, im very sure either way, that you;ll be ablt to assign ringtones to individuals. That's almost a standard these days.
I have a question tho, can you make it to where in your contacts, to use only the sim card and not the phone memory contacts?
Re: N81 and N82
yeah, but i wonder how much these will cost?
and what is 8 GM?
Re: Address Book
try typing in the number on the main screen, then go to options, then add to contacts, thats how i do it (With my Nokia 6682, running S60)
Re: Why Should I switch to Cingular?
ok, that helps... Im just waiting for cingular to get a 3 or more megapixel phone
Re: Why Should I switch to Cingular?
and what if i already had the sim card?
Re: Why Should I switch to Cingular?
ugh... well, what about upgrading your phone during a contract? will it cost the same as just getting a new phone after the contract is over or what? does your contract get extended an extra 2 years and then you have 4 years...
Maybe ill just get a really nice phone, and not use it and just sell it off ebay unlocked or something.
That would be worth the 2 years.
Re: Why Should I switch to Cingular?
Oh yea, I have a Nokia 6682, Unlocked of course. And, since I'm not impressed by Cingulars phone lineup, I will probably just keep this phone for now. But, Will there be a way to switch from TMobile to Cingular without having to sign a contract (in case a new phone comes out that I will want?)
Why Should I switch to Cingular?
I live in Alabama, and am currently on TMobile.
I feel like in the next month, when my plan ends, that I am going to switch to Cingular.
But, the only reason why is because of their coverage. Should there be any other reason why I should switch besides coverage and rollover?
Their phones aren't too impressive to me.
App for landscape mode pictures for S60?
Is there an application for my (S60) Nokia 6682 to take its picture in landscape mode so it will seem more like a camera? :D

Re: converting video files for 6682
This is a great program, fast, and free! Simple too!
Its called Mobile Media Converter by MIKSOFT.
You just upload the movie to your computer and convert it with MMC. Converts, .3gp to .mgp, vice-versa and more.
Re: 6682 - Not very loud?
Lol, MINE ONLY HAS 1 DRILLED OUT!
I better get to work on this right away!

Im just glad tey sill ad $2.99 texting when i got my first tmobile phone. I've kept my texting plan for two years and dont plan to change my "less-than-a-cent" texting.
BUT, I do wish they would bring back the old plans and such... they just need to keep it all and offer more choices...
Hopefully I can become someone high up in the ...
Re: Im with tmobile, but my phone says Cingular sometimes?
I think that littlefuzzbear is right. IF you wanted your conversation to be private, then send him/her a PM. It's simple. There's no point in getting heated over something so stupid. I just think your way too immature. if you want to start ****, then

Im with tmobile, but my phone says Cingular sometimes?
So I'm sitting in my room with my cell phone. (Nokia 6682) And I lose TMobile service. Then My phone says "Cingular" in place of "T-Mobile".
Is it roaming into Cingular's network?
Can I make this stay on Cingular's Network?
Will this happen everytime I lose service with tmobile and Cingular has service where I'm at?
Will this cost extra for this "roaming"? (I don't think it will though.)
Since most of my friends have Cingular, will it cost them if I call them ...
Re: Best Phone
go with a nokia for the best reception.
Re: Won a SDA! Should I leave Verizon for T-Mobile?
Wow, you won an SDA? lucky. I am with tmobile, and trust, me, they are truly awesome. and you know, they are reallydoin something about their coverage too right now. so, hey, what zip code do you live in so i can see the coverage.
i say, go with tmobile. because even if you only get 1-3 inside your apt., you can still make phone calls. In my house I get 1-full signal. and I can make ...
Re: antenna booster ~ what do you all think
try it and see. what are they, like $5?
Re: Will Tmobile match rate plans?
i would think that they would, I mean, they do have extremely well customer service. try calling their 1 800 number and see.
Re: Why should I stay with Tmobile? (I am not a tmobile hater)
im not saying that that is why im leaving, i was just saying that because that one person thinks that it would be that easy, and its not.
Re: Why should I stay with Tmobile? (I am not a tmobile hater)
thanks for your replies, keep them coming! But, the one comment on making/convincing people to switch to tmobile, thats harder than you think in this town. everybody thinks tmobile is a ****ty ass company that sucks... but they havent even tried tmobile... The m2m is what is winning me over with cingular...
Why should I stay with Tmobile? (I am not a tmobile hater)
I have stayed with tmobile for a year and a month. and, i am so-so proud of t-mobile. Its just where I live, they have decent coverage, but 95% of the people in my town are with cingular. To see the coverage in my area. http://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/ go here, and then in the zip code:35653 and when youve done that, you should see a street labled: Waterloo Rd. Cleck on the left of the "W" and that ...
