The mp3 player
The review said that the mp3 player was limited to mp3's only, but I use .m4a files on mine and they work just as well as mp3's do.

As far as build quality goes, it has been said that there are two different versions of the phone. The initial batch didn't slide as well and the doors for the memory card were very flexible rubber. The newer ones (the one I have) have more solid doors and the slide is alot smoother.
As far as volume, you've got to be doing something wrong. The phone is REALLY loud when turned all the way up in the mp3 player ...

No, the iTunes symbol is green note with the CD behind it. Moto is just using the green note, no CD, probably to throw people off and make them think it has iTunes, just like you did

If they were louder, were they as full sounding as the E398? Its not tinny like most cell phone speakers tend to be.
Anways, people have their own opinions.

obviously neither of you have ever heard music coming from an E398. They speakers are very very good, and were the best of its time (not many phones that are currently being released can beat the e398 for external sound). Its not for the stereo effect, but the sound quality, and the sound quality on the E398 is well ahead of almost every other phone on the market.

Someone please tell me moto didn't drop the dual speakers and vibesync of the E398! That was one of its coolest features and I don't see any speaker grills on the E2 (unless they're hidden in the back).
So when does it come out!?
I've been waiting for this phone for forever, hopefully, since it was FCC approved about a month ago, it'll be out soon

This phone is huge and bulky as well, although it feels ok in your pocket because its not overly thick

the phone has built in settings for tmobile under the internet menu. The homepage will not work but all other wap sites will
Fiber optic light
one of the reviews of the phone claimed that you cannot turn off the exterior fiber optic light. That is not true, you can its under display settings, its called the EL light
