i live in sacramento in the downtown/midtown area and right now im getting 1 bar with 3g. 4g LTE is non existence in this MAJOR/STATE CAPITOL city. i called sprint and asked them about my spotty reception and they told me they are fixing the towers around me and it will be back up in 2 days.....this was about a month ago.

someone sounds like a bitter apple user. everything apple has done has been stolen or should i say "borrowed" from other companies. apple never did anythign themselves. from computers to mp3 players. if your biggest defense that apple is the one "creating" things is a calendar then your defense is as bad as apples patent infringement lawsuits......

if they are all moving over to LTE 4g, it wont cost them anything. it would be cheaper for the data and might as well start profiting from customers coming over than making money off loyal customers like the other companies do.

cell phones might of taken a bit longer to come to the light but it would be one of those bumps before the explosion. look at the internet. did they have to give away computers to get people online? no, they just found a way to make computers cheaper so people can sign on. thats what would of happen to cell phones. they would have to find a way to make them cheaper so people would buy a ...

i completely agree on your statement. the carriers really screwed themselves when they started offering cheap phones or free phones. if they never did this, i believe we would be 10x more advanced in cell phone technology and coverage than where we are right now. with everything being unlimited. all of the money they spent "buying" phones for customers so they can grab a free and stay for two years was money they could of invested in better towers, ...

if we really wanted to have cheap phones we should blame the carriers and ourselves. we wanted free phones well we got them. now instead of phone developers making better products at a cheaper price we expect the carriers to front the cost which now we see the end results. thats why we are paying $100+ for unlimited calling instead of $50 and getting 4g service with lanline quality voice. so dont cry now that verizon, sprint, tmo, ...

they should of done that since day 1.....look at the European and asian countries, they do that and they have better phones than us. the iphone is crappy tech to them. if they really did that i think we would be on 6g by now because they could of used all of that money they spent on phones and crap to make us the customer come to them on the cellular coverage instead. we wouldnt have the "look ...

i blame the cellular companies for screwing themselves with the whole ETF thing....they should of just done flat fees like metro and those other companies and charge full price on phones.... manufacturers would then compete with their phones and we wouldnt have these exclusives like iphone and droid and everyone would have open source phones that can be taken anywhere and actually pay what they get....and NOT complain about their phones.....

yeah but sprint should really be concentrating on fixing its customer service and actually hiring qualified individuals or at least merge the billing,CS,IT and credit into one huge support. it gets frustrating when you have to call CS and they cant do it because thats a different system that they use and have to transfer you to another rep and that rep cant help you because they don't have the right training for that and the next person is ...
