T-mobile the company pays to have a box made to hold the phones with their logos on it and they also pay to have sim cards made with their logo and placed in the boxes should it be a new activation. I download my videos at www.alltheweb.com and go to video search and download some mitch hedburg clips but I've tried d/l other videos to see whats the deal and still no go. Anyways I returned the phone and got a nokia 9300 but still keep me updated if you can get it to work should my nokia have a problem with videos also.

What happens to me is I download the clip and go to the file to open it and it says I cant view it for some reason, even with .wmv files i download. It only works if I download a video from computer a then sync it to the phone. The MDA should be able to d/l video files and play them, so if it can't do this simple task im returning it and going back to my pocket ...
Problem with downLoading videos online
I have the tmobile unlimited data plan and I try to download video trailers from online but they wont play i.e being .mpg or .wmv . I know it use to work on my Pocket Pc phone edition 2003 but not with the MDA, Any idea would be greatly appreciated.

Usually the original chat programs that come with the phone pre-installed have some issues, but i remember using verichat on my ppc back 2 years ago with WM2003 and it worked great, but atm verichat has not released a version for WM5. I beleive you would sync ur treo up to your pc, then find your contacts files and create a copy of your contacts folder, save to desktop for a easy find. Now, sync your PPC to the pc and find the contacts folder and copy/paste contacts. I don't think you can swap the contact files because they are 2 different formats, but this way is much easier i.e copy/paste. Hope that helps... if you have any more q's just ...
