Re: e-mail with attachment won't send

My best educated guess is to look for support info in Microsoft's Data Base. Unfortunately, I don't have an exchange server to use with my 8125, so I won't be able to give you the correct answer. My best suggestion would be to get a free pop3 account, perhaps through GMail, and send your attachments through there, since it uses your pda connection as well. Also, how big are the attachments, I guess there might be a restriction as ...

Well, I'll do my best to help. If this >> https://onlinecare.cingular.com/device-su pport/selectDevice.do?mode=na&universe=cingul ar&make=Motorola&model=V3&x=26&y=5 doesn't help, let me know. Perhaps you don't have any media enabled on your account. If that link doesn't help, let me know and I'll see what else we can do.

Ok, try this.... Click on the envelope key to go to your message center, once there click the menu key at the top. You SHOULD see Email MSG Setup... if you don't, then your phone is more-than-likely, deffective. If you don't see that... just let me know and I'll see what other options are available.

8125 users..... Bluetooth File Transfer

Hey fellow 8125 users, I've been trying to work every and all aspects of my phone to get well acquainted with it. However, I've come to find that I am unable to transfer media from my pda via bluetooth. So I'd like to ask of you, has anyone been able to transfer data from your pda via bluetooth? If so, how is it possible? I mean, don't get me wrong, I love this phone. But it can't possibly ...

Well, I'm saddened to say that the Walmart Freeloading has come to an end. But not to worry... hope is NOT lost. It IS true that you can spend money on a usb cable and motorola phone tools and get a pretty mediocre-sounding ringtone. However, here's what I do.... I find a song I like, I open it with Acid 4.0 (Sound editing software) and I then clip it to about 30secs. since that's the amount ...

Ok, just go into the message center, click the "Menu" key and go to email set up. Note that the rest will depend on who your email service provider is... Once you're in the set up screen, type in your name, the user name (make sure to include the "@yourisp.com" ), and of course.... the password. You will then need to know your service provider's pop or imap server names. Once you have entered all of that, just hit done ...

Hi Randy, Indeed, you CAN tether your phone as a modem. Be adviced you WILL need another plan aside from your PDA Connect. This other plan is called Laptop Connect, without it, there will be a very high bill every month. LOL I'll give you help on the set up, but if you decide to not get the plan that's totally up to you. Ok, here's how to set it up: Start by going to http://www.cingular.com/connectionmanager Download and install it. Do ...

I'm currently working for Cingular. I work at a corporate store and I really enjoy the environment. Pay is pretty good and benefits are too. About a year ago, I used to work for a sub-agent for Sprint, Verizon, and Cingular. It really sucked. Now, I've come to see that agent stores aren't always the best. We have an agent store about 4 or 5 miles from my location and let me tell you, they piss me off. One ...

If you have Cingular, I would have to recomend you get a Data Connect Plan, NOT the Unlimited MEdia Net, as it will not work to connect your computer to the net. Cingular charges a flat rate of 59.99 *Until the end of March* after that it'll be 79.99 monthly for UNLIMITED use. However, I hate to burst your bubble, the Razr has the regular GPRS connection... in other words, it's not worth it to use it as your ...

Re: Blackberry Connect Software for Pocket PC

I hate to burst your bubble, but it can't be done. Blackberry uses software called "Workbooks" which have all of the info about what server to use and how to send it and receive it and so forth. The BB plan won't work with non-BB phones. If you want to access your pop/imap email on your sx66 you must set up your account through your messaging options. It works similar to outlook, just make sure that you use the ...

Hey, I would like to suggest the HTC (Cingular) 8125. I got that phone about a week ago, prior to that, I had only had experience on the store demo at my work. Well, it uses EDGE technology, which has peak speeds of up to 130-135 kbps. How's that for fast access? The web connection is so fast, you'd think you have dsl on your cellphone. Be aware though, you NEED a PDA plan for this phone, in order ...

My best piece of advice is to check out Handango.com Maybe you find something that really kicks butt. Although, I'll tell you this much... from the research I've done, I've come to find out that Voice Dialing doesn't work through bluetooth on that phone. However, there might be some new software that allows you to do that. I have the HTC (Cingular) 8125 and I'll tell you that this phone kicks colossal butt. It's by far one of ...

Re: FREE RINGTONES??

in the Tricked Out forum

I make my own ringtones using ACID 4.0 Generally, I make them about 30 seconds long, since most carriers only let the phone ring that long before they kick into voice mail. Anyways, I would suggest getting a bluetooth enabled phone, that way all that's left to do is bluetooth the ringers over from your computer. For MAC users, as most of you know by now, newer MACs have built-in bluetooth... You just save some time going to ...
