at least it LOOKS like the qwerty keyboard is a TAD bit wider than the Palm Centro, which is too cramped. That's why I liked the Palm Treo 680 better before moving on to an iPhone. :D (don't like the BJ or any other Widows phone, had the Moto Q) :evil:
It is a nice looking phone and it's about time they come out with "dumb" phones with qwerty keyboards!! :D :D :wink:

Palm OS IS user friendly and there are TONS of programs out there for it since it's easy to write them for.

just a thought, but i was looking at a friend of mine's and there is a sticker on the bottom on back that says NOT to block that area during calls. would that have anything to do with it?? :roll:

It's even slower with Telenav. And for some reason, going North it works pretty good, but on the same road coming back South, it can't lock on the satellites. It says too weak signal...... :evil:
That's my biggest gripe on the phone currently. Any body have suggestions???
Also, does Telenav have to be subscribed to in order to use the gps, or will it work with google and live after my free 30 days of telenav ...

it's weird, but like telenav i got google to work going NORTH, but when coming back home SOUTH on the same highway it didn't work. It worked real well heading North........I don't get it!
If I cancel my free Telenav will the gps not work with google then either? or does it work and we are just paying for telenav? I would like to hear that it would, but it wouldn't surprise me if it did not! ...
1500 integrated Bolt-on and windows live????
What is: 1500 integrated Bolt-on that is mentioned in PDA Personal Max media package?? It doesn't say text messages like some other messages do, so I'm confused??? I don't need any kind of texting any way. We have unlimited family plan. I was even told by one ATT rep that if I got a plan that included texting it would cancel my family plan account??? :paranoid:
Also, what is the Windows Live ppl are talking ...

Someone there finally told me what to do to get my program to download! I had spent over an hour with customer svc at ATT on chat and almost an hour on the phone with Motorola. Both decided it must be a faulty phone and told me to return it.
It was just as simple as turning off the virus protection while it downloaded. In 5 min on ...

This is my Second phone. The first one was returned because of the Telenav issue. I spent over an hour on the phone between Telenav and ATT customer support. When I took it back to the store ...

Now, I surely am not the ONLY one experiencing difficultly with download speeds. IF that's what the problem even is. I surf the internet just fine on Edge all the time, but getting this file and that Telenav (joke) is a B*^ch!
My Q Pak downloaded for almost 2 hrs, stopping every few seconds, then when I thought surely it has to be almost finished it stopped. I had to start all over again........

First of all download speeds take FOREVER........... I don't think that My Q Pak will EVER get downloaded. I have a full signal, I don't know what the malfunction is, but it stops about every 3 seconds! Then it has a gateway error and stops.
Telenav was the same way. Once it was FINALLY installed, I am glad it's free for 30 days because I would never pay for that. The gps was still giving me ...

I stopped in the AT&T store in Chilicothe, OH today and asked about the rumored price drop. He said the new price sheet wouldn't be out until Sunday night. Not sure what he even knows since he said I was the first one to even be interested in it. I was the first to look at it and he was asking ME questions as I was trying it out!!

No. only PTT between Cingular phones. I emailed Motorola and asked if they had any plans for a PTT phone for cingular and they wrote back stating that there was NOT anything in the near future planned for Cingular.

What is the scoop on Moto coming out w/ a PTT for Cingular fairly soon? We have the Samsung and it's fine, but we like Motos. Unless we buy a Moto online then we will be stuck w/out being able to upgrade until King Cingular says it's time. I hate that they make you wait forever before they allow you to upgrade!!!

I can say from experience that these phones do NOT work with Cingular PTT. The only L7 that is released in the US is the one that Cingular has right now, which has I-Tunes. The ones that you can buy on line that say they are PTT L7s are European phones and they operate on a different PTT network. So, until Cingular is ready to get a Motorola phone in PTT we are stuck w/ the Samsung ...
