You're right -- the marketing of the Myspace phone is geared towards those demographics, but that's what makes the marketing brilliant -- those people you mentioned are the people with a large amount of disposable income. I understand your point, Phydeaux, but how many times have you seen a 13 or 14 year old with a brand new phone? And how many "emogoths" have iPods, RAZR's and other expensive gadgets?
