Re: Does $29.99 tethering add-on have a 5GB ceiling for 3G, or is it unlimited regardless of 3G or 4

unbelievable! $29.99 additional just to use tethering! ugh!!! when will all this BS end! the $10 extra should be covering that! I don't think I'm going to go w/Sprint after all! Freak'n phone seems pretty cool too but come on! that much more $$ for tethering is BS, we're in a F'N recession for crying out loud!

I keep reading that this plan will be cheaper but is it? I pay for 3 ATT phones Family plan for 750 minutes, free night and weekend 2 iphones 2G + $40 for data for both (works fine!!!) 1 Motorola piece of crap. We pay $125 per/month for all this.

That is a good point/question! I plan to head out to see this phone in action and possibly make a switch from ATT's iPhone to this. Thx! Keep us posted Amigo!

that is crazy that they can do that! cost too much for data and txting. You pay $50 for a plan w/ATT (give or take) and then you pay $30 for 3G, then another $15 for texting! RIDICULOUS!

hey all this is a general question for any carrier you may be with. can some one answer if they know if this is true or not? so I was told by ATT customer service that you are now required to always have a data plan if you use any smart phone w/any carrier at all times! meaning if I buy a Nexus or HTC for cash and want to use it on there network I have to always have a data plan, ...

I just found that out this weekend! ha!... I guess one should edit a track for the part they want the ringer for... Everyday that SLVR is growing on me! But I still hate iTunes...

I tried to get this thing to work on Saturday and it just wouldn't recognize the SLVR... I can't update either so I guess you're right...? Funny thing is I had downloaded 2 different versions and neither of them recognize the phone... It't sit's there with the clock and them goes back to the prompt of what access method to choose (USB, Bluetooth...etc...) I wonder if Fry's electronics sells mpts? I'm not trying to sell the Sony Ericsson w600 phone ya'll, especially because when you compare it to the looks of the SLVR. Well you can see the difference! SLVR looks great! Sony looks bulky and blocky... Bummer! however I can tell you that I had over 40 mp3's and 60 some ring tones on there that was as easy as click and drag! I was able to use the full MP3's as ringtones and assign each mp3 to different callers if desired!

Thanks for the info Mr. Bob... Seriously I agree with you on the "cutting edge of style and size" 100%. But the interface was just not customizable enough for me. "Personal preference" of mine to have full accessability to customize my settings... The w600 is bulky I also agree on that... You're a good man Mr. Bob...

Do you have the phone yourself? Have you physically gotten a chance to play with the Sony w600. My guess is you haven't, if you can, compare the two and then get back to me and post your comments. Is there a way to unlock the ring tones? Why not just share the knowledge. I've spent at the most 6 hours total in the few day's I've had this phone learning the in's and out's. I'm sure in due time I will find it. But ...

I recently purchased the SLVR L7. Let me tell you some thing! This phone sux!!! I previously had the Sony Ericcson w600i and that phone was sweet compared to this one! I can't do any thing with this stupid Motorola phone, they locked it down and put a cr@py interface on it! My question is has any one been able to hack into the stupid phone? If so some tips would be nice because as it is out of the ...
