No they don't charge you airtime to play the game. They charge you airtime to download it. The subscription thing is ridiculous though! If you plan to keep the game for more than 2 months....and Tetris is definitely worth it, it's better to get the unlimited. $3.49 every month vs. $7.99 a year. These f*cking things are two expensive as it is...don't give them extra money!

OMG That's soooooo friggin hot!!!!! I just got my phone, the vx9800 in May (or sometime around) then. So I'm nowhere close to my New Every 2 deal. I wonder if I sign a new contract if I'll get promo pricing.... hmmmmmmm. I'm not psycho enough to pay retail...but it IS hot!

If you buy a phone on the replacement site/online then you have to return via shipping it back. You can't just take it to the store for a refund (I tried). You're supposed to use the Fedex label and all that jazz to send it back. You don't have to wait for them to credit your account back to purchase another one either.

Verizon doesn't carry this phone (the v710) anymore. The successor is the Motorola e815.

I bought all my stuff in the store. I think if you buy it in the store you have to include the receipts for everything that you purchase. With Verizon Online taking up to a week to process orders it's definitely more convenient to go in the store and do it.

Where'd you hear that info about the battery? The store reps are always throwing it in our face that you'll kill your battery if you over-charge it...now of course I don't give them that much credit, although I think they were right with my v710. The manual said you could charge it overnight and not damage the battery but my battery needed to be replaced w/i a year b/c I was just putting it on the charger ...

Yeah I totally agree about the menu system. I don't necessarily dislike the layout of the menu options, it's more the red upper and lower bars that you can't get rid of or change the color. I mean AT LEAST let me change the color of the damn bars if you're going to have them. With that said, the v710 had that poopy outside screen that only let you switch between preprogrammed crappy pictures...which a lot ...

yeah, but did you ever receive some kind of email confirmation or anything like that? The replacement website won't let me log back in b/c it says I've already ordered the replacement phone. When did you notice your account had been debitted?

I'm sooooo frustrated everytime one of my friends with an LG phone takes a picture with their phone and it looks 20x better than when I take one with my v710. My battery lost its *umph* a long time ago and I sometimes have to charge the phone two times a day. I figure I can hold out with the phone for another 2 months ...

Nah, I would think that if you had your claim in by the 9th you'll be included in that date. They had to have had your name in the system or else they wouldn't have been able to send the second notice. Besides, the wording for the settlement terms is different in refund vs. credit. Verizon never sent me the first Settlement mailing for this suit and I was NOT going to be left out in the cold so I went ahead and printed out the Settlement and mailed it in before the 12.9.05 deadline. Yesterday in the mail I got the second Settlement mailing (I guess I was one of the 65,000 overlooked). Anyone think I should send this one in as well or what?
