Don't expect this to last. Sounds good for you and me but most of those"pop up content" that causes your page to jump everywhere are ads. If I'm not mistaken that's how Google makes their money.

If Apple wins I'm sure the money they save will be passed on to you and me. The next Iphone will be cheaper. Right ?

ZTE makes excellent hardware, terrible software

in the Article: Review: ZTE Blade V8 Pro forum

The new Blade V8 uses the same MiFavor operating system as my Axon 7. Unfortunately the software is the real negative for this phone. ZTE has chosen not to implement some of the most basic features of the Android OS. There are not many options or customizations on this phone.

The current strategy ensures that there will be no fines and no enforcement. How else are they going to get all these cheaters to contribute to their re-election campaigns?

If you live in a large metro area like San Francisco this could be very useful. Spent an hour looking for a parking space there one day until I finally gave into the the parking lot robbers without guns.

Keyboard and a large screen seem redundant. Folks have gotten used to swiping on their on screen keyboard which is faster and easier. You might have a few oldie goldies that might find this phone intriguing but I don't think it will sell well.

Glad to see AT&T is thinking aggressively. I don't think you'll have to worry about AT&T making a bad decision but they seem to want to lead the pack and that is good. It forces other carriers to get off the pot and do something to keep up.

Ever hear of U-verse. It was another one of those earth shattering moves AT&T made that went nowhere. At $35.00 per month I wouldn't expect too much. 100 channels. Ha Ha Ha Ha. I would expect 16 shopping channels, 12 church channels, 18 foreign soccer channels, etc, etc. Nothing that anybody would want to watch.

Simple- connect your phone thru bluetooth or a cable and start a playlist before you pull out of your driveway. Driving while distracted, no matter what the circumstance is, is not acceptable.

in the Article: Californians All But Forbidden to Use Phones In Cars forum

I like smartphones. Whether you want to acknowledge it or not, driving while talking or texting is a real problem. I was talking to a guy who had recently been involved in an accident. The insurance claims adjuster told him that over 50% of the auto accidents he handled in the last 6 months involved someone either talking or texting on their phone. More people are distracted while driving than ever before. I see it with my own two eyes. Guess ...
