fyi - i have been through 2 of these phones because of the messed up headset jack issue - (still can't get that to work). but, the first one i have saves the sounds to the ringtones area, and then the second one saved them to the sounds area and i can't get it to become a ringtone on that one. so, i know what you are talking about. no idea why the one worked and ...
headset jack? music only comes through speakers and not headphones!
has anyone tried putting music on this phone and then listening through regular headphones? i have been through 2 of these phones now and both are the same - music comes through the speakers and not the headphones. it needs the 2.5mm adapter, which i have, but alas, still no music through headphones, only speakers. help?

what do you mean by "mobile phone tools" - is there a program or something somewhere that makes the computer recognize the phone and be compatible? i can use the cable from my camera too, but i only get to v3c wording and nothing further.

when i saved the clip from walmart.com, it saved it to my computer as an mp3 file. then when i uploaded it to my phone from funformobile.com, the phone saved the sound as a .mid file. if walmart.com isn't working for you, try amazon. the sound is very loud and clear as a ringtone on my razr.

For all the verizon Razr v3c people out there who want different ringtones, aren't techy, and don't have the bluetooth stuff - i did ringtones in the easiest way yet. i went to walmart.com, i searched in music for some songs i liked, i right clicked the "listen" icon next to the song, and clicked "save target as", which saved it to my computer to a nice easy spot of my choice :-). i then went to funformobile.com and ...
