I have a question for all of you touch screen people out there. I have attempted to text on an iphone and it is much more difficult than texting with my regular flip phone. Is it possible to text using T9/word with the Dare? I would imagine a box would pop up on the top 1/3 of the screen and a regular phone key pad would show up on the lower 2/3 of the screen. ...
Anyone Switch from a Samsung U740?
I currently own the Samsung U740 but am considering a switch to this phone because the keys are just too small for me on the Smasung. Anyone else make the switch? If so, happy you did? Not happy?
Also, does anyone know if you can text using your voice on the LG? I love this feature on the Samsung!

Thanks for the response Audrey! Like I said I had a Samsung before my Moto so I am fairly confident going into the upgrade. I HATE the slow menus with the Moto - are they instant with the 740? Do you use it to text? How hard was it to get used to the keyboard? I am about a 50/50 call/text user, so I thought this would be a perfect phone for me. ...

Put your phone to ring style "all off" (silent mode). Your phone will no longer make sounds when you turn it on or off. Hope this helps.
Re: Having more issues with ringtones and microSD card
All you have to do is email a .mid file to your phone (your#@vzwpix.com). Make sure you send it from a web based email client like yahoo or hotmail. Also make sure the file is less than 200kb. Once you receive your pix message, hit the right button to save the sound. Your sound is now on your phone and can be used as a ring tone. Hope this helps.

I have also found thet .mid files work very well as well (in fact better than .qcp files). Just make sure your file is less than 200 kb.
A900 for Verizon?
Any chance Samsung will be releasing a similar phone for Verizon? I would easily buy this over the Verizon Razr. Any insight would be appreciated.
Contract Question
I apologize in advance if this is the wrong spot for this type of question, but I have found most people here to be extremely helpful, so I figured I would ask. If I get my Razr and end up not liking it for some reason and return it with the 15 days - am I able to cancel my 2 year extension on my contract, or does the 2 year extension have to stay in place and ...

Hey Razr owners. I am curious as to how long your battery is lasting. I realize everyone uses the phone different amounts of time during the day, but I am curious as to what the average length of time is before the phone starts beeping with the low battery signal.

Reception
Hi razr users. I was wondering if anyone saw a dip in reception with the internal antenna. I have a Samsung a670 and can extend the antenna when reception is a bit low. Does anyone have any comparative experience with the razr and another phone? Is reception as good, better, or worse? Thanks for the feedback!
