SO I said I wanted: Full 7 Desktops Install to SD Remove bloatware Full 7 desktops: *Got'em* ADW Launcher: I only had 5 of the available 7 enabled! Duh... Install to SD: *Kinda* I can move some but not all to the SD. Apparently if the Dev who created the app being installed makes it install to the sd, it will. My feeling is that as the devs become more familiar with Froyo more will add this as a choice @ install So ...

Yea it's not looking good over @ XDA. but at least they are still passionate about finding the solution for it. I'm nervous about when the Devs begin to feel discouraged. I was considering the Vibrant and the G2, but went with the G2 specifically for the Hardware QWERTY I hate virtual keyboards, although Swype makes them much more bearable. I like the G2, and have been able to get all the functionality i want with 3rd party ...

My mistake  HTC are the A-Holes who put in the self-aware bootloader  , and Tmobile are the A-holes who decided to still go with the device  !

ROOT PROOF?
Oct 7, 2010, 10:41 AM
in the HTC G2 forum

It seems that the A-holes @ tmobile decided to make the bootloader on the G2 self aware. What does that mean you ask? It means that while the G2 was successfully rooted just days after it's initial release, once you reboot the phone the bootloader checks to see if it has been rooted and if it has, it resets everything back to the way tmobile wants it. 8O /;| WTH? That is completely ridiculous. :? ...

Yup sorry as far as I know there are no flashing options for the 629, funny how U can still get left over samsung e635 in nearly any tmobile store but the t809 slider phone with the option to flash it is misteriously missing less than a year after it's debue. But then I could just be paranoid.https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/p_ forum.php?fm=m&ff=1048&fi=842404# Rolling Eyeshttps://www.phonescoop.com/phones/p_forum .php?fm=m&ff=1048&fi=842404# Shocked

In an attempt to inform some people that may not know that if ...

ok i take it back after looking at the hands on article it's not that bad. The photo on the product page and on the phone scoop home page doesn't show the brushed metal finish of the front very well. It's still not as good lookin as the i320 but i think it give the Q a run for it's money especially with the curved edges.
