Google Shame

Too bad greedy Google immediately sold Mototola to a foreign company. I'm sure they needed the money. Little by little we own and manufacture less. It won't be long. Goodbye Motorola. I guess hello Sushiola.

Little by little we are allowing foreign companies to take over and change us. It's a shame. So long Motorola! You will be missed. Hello Sushiola.

I got this phone and it is just fine. It is bigger than the last one and heavier. Really good battery life so far and wi fi capable. Just wish it wasn't quite so big.

Charging issue on all revere 3's

There is an issue with all models at the store. They will not charge when you plug them in. The screen will say not charging. And it's right because they will not take a charge. This has happened on every device at 3 different stores in two different states.

Just talked to LG. They said that's the way they all are. Giant clock on front when phone is open. Crap.

This phone is decent. It is pretty small and will be a fingerprint magnet, though not as bad as some. The lighting on the keypad is white and fairly dim. Ringers loud and battery life appears to be really good. The only thing that is really weird is when you have the phone flipped open when talking or whatever, there is a clock that appears in big digital numbers on the outside little screen. ...

I tried that. The clock that I am talking about displays only when the phone is flipped open and on the outside little screen. Most VZW phones say verizon wireless on the outside screen when the phone is open or are just blank. Did I get a defective one??? Thanks for the help.

Clock on front menu

When the phone is powered on and flipped open there is a digital clock that appears on the outer screen where usually it would say "Verizon Wireless." Is there any way to change this? I find it pointless to have the clock to tell everyone around you what time it is, plus it just plain looks stupid. Would greatly appreciate some insight on this. Thanks!

Backlight

in the Motorola Adventure V750 forum

I have 2 Moto adventures and the backlight will dim and stay dim (unless go to the brightness steetings) at random times. This does this on both phones so I know I don't have just one "defective" phone. Anyone else with this issue?? Thanks.

I got this phone 2 days ago. Unfortunately, it only has the verizon ui. I left a review on it. Other than the vzw ui, it is a top notch phone. Everything on it works the way it should.

Ringtone

When the phone is closed and it gets an incoming call, the ringtone is really quiet for a second and then gets to the normal volume level. Is that just mine or do they all do it??? Need to know if I should exchange it. Thanks!

Banner and backlight timeout
Jan 11, 2006, 2:52 PM
in the Nokia 6235i / 6236i forum

I have tried to "customize" the banner and it still keeps saying Verizon Wireless on the screen. Also when I change the timeout for the back light from the factory settings of 15 seconds, the change only lasts as long as the phone is turned on. If I turn it off for any reason such as charging it resets back to the 15 seconds. Any one else with this?????? Thanks

Re: Razr Voice Dialing

in the Motorola RAZR V3c forum

I'm just saying "Call Bob Smith", after the prompt. I just called Verizon tech and they thought that the software asked which number under one of the Mobile 1 or Mobile 2 catagories because there was more than one with the same word in it and the software couldn't differentiate. I also called Motorola and didn't get much help. They said the phone was new and they couldn't find anything on it.(not helpful at all) ...

Razr Voice Dialing

in the Motorola RAZR V3c forum

When adding a contact in the list and only putting one number in under the "Mobile 1" area, no other numbers in "Home" etc., and you try to use voice dialing it keeps asking "which number, Mobile or Mobile 1." In the instruction book it says that if there is only one number listed for a contact you should only have to say there name, not name and Mobile 1, etc. Anyone else having this issue or ...
