Re: Fixed X
I believe the 2.3.32 is the Kernel version. That can be found under Settings and System Info/About. The Kernel is what bridges between the application software and the hardware of your device. AKA "the core" of a computer.
The benefits vary depending on what version you are running. Alot of them will help with battery life, which is key to most.
ManU 1.4 - 2.6.35 is a pretty decent kernel.
Hope this helps.
Re: Famous Customers
He is one of my favorites as well that is still alive.
I was star struck but I got to talk with him for a little bit about a recent book he wrote.
Re: Famous Customers
A famous writer with the alias 'Richard Bachman.' He was in town while filming a movie and just had some general questions about his phone. I could tell it was genuinely him due to his accident he had recently and him coming in with a back brace.
The other one, not many of you would know. Armanti Edwards. I believe he is now a WR for the Carolina Panthers, but he was the quarterback for my college football team. He ...

I have the original playstation game of FFVII and I have it on my modded psp. I play this game non-stop. Any Final Fantasy releases with this would be worth the but to me.

Well, the wife-to-be did say she wanted us to get a pet.
Awkward
A customer just comes into the store to add Unlimited messaging to her account. She has very little knowledge on how to text or send photos, so I sit down with her and show her how.
We get to the photo sending part and she has no photos to send. She asked her friend to take a photo and her friend rapidly declined. She was going to take a picture of the store and then turned to me asked if ...

Re: PBA Profile. NEED HELP
Have you tried re-pairing the phone with the vehicle by completly removing the original pairing of the Shine II and pairing it again? If so, I would check to see if your Shine II is running on the newest firmware update as well as the current version in your Honda.
You might want to also make sure that the bluetooth in your vehicle is fully compatible with that device.
I don't beleive that there is any software that ...

Re: "How do I get a Droid for little or no money?"
Ha. Google NEVER fails!
I only got into the last 3, the older versions. I started watching the one where Anakin was a kid, and I turned it off.
I haven't played any of their MMO's. I have been waiting to hear reviews of The Old Republic before I give it a shot.
Re: "How do I get a Droid for little or no money?"
Uh, I don't beleive so.
They wear Brown hooded robes and have yellow eyes. They were scavangers. They carried ion blasters.
If I am not mistaken, they sold C-3PO and R2D2 to Luke's Uncle.

If I remember correctly, they are traders/buyers/sellers in Star Wars.

Re: best practices
For existing family share accounts, it is very easy....."For $9.99 a month, wouldn't you like to have the peace of mind of knowing you can reach your child/relative at any time?" Or something to that extent.
On an existing single line, I would pitch...."Right now is the time to start our Family Share accounts. Not only is the pricing to hard to pass up, but being able to contact each-other and any other on (Enter Network), you really can't afford ...

Not only AT&T, but if you review the Terms and Agreements in Verizon's collateral, you would actually be surprised with what you have the power to do (ie, cancel a customer's account for belligerance.)

Re: Free Country...???
I don't recall saying that everyone can talk or text and not be impaired long enough to cause an accident. In fact, I never stated anything in regards to everyone but was merely referring to my opinion on the differences between drinking and driving and cellular use.
Any particular person can be more impaired than others in all different situations. The idea for me to typecast everyone as a whole would undeniably be extremely idiotic and redundant.

Also you state people should be able to make their own decisions while driving, then why not allow drunk driving to?
Just my 2 cents here but, drinking and driving impaires your judgement/responsivness, as for talking on your cell phone distracts concentration. You can snap in and out of concentration, but you can not snap out of having impaired judgment due to being intoxicated.

apparently you've never headr of drunk drivers killing other, non drunk, people on the roads. It happens everyday. So drinking and driving laws are NOT solely about the drunk's well being.
I understand this, I chose not to elborate any further on behalf the bystandard. I was just stating a form of responsibility, not solely on just the intoxicated driver.

Re: Leave your damn phone alone and drive your car.
Touche'
All joking aside though, what if you text and walk? Then you walk right into traffic and get hit by a vehicle due to your lack of attention or lack of the drivers attention (ie had a bad day at work, wife/husband cheated on them, family death, etc.) Should they ban cell phone use all together?

Re: To those who say it's not fair?
To answer the above stated questions, Insurance on a vehicle should be an option for YOUR own benefit. Wearing a seatbelt, it is for YOUR own safety. Drinking and driving, that is against YOUR own well being.
How many people do not get insurance to cut costs? Or not wear a seat belt running up to the store which is half a block up the road? Or drink and drive because they feel they are "ok enough to drive?"
These are ...

She must easily mistake proper syntax for "English language." I am not trying to criticize your appealing argument, which was an enjoyable read, but just backing up your statement. When someone retaliates by becoming offensive, that shows a sign of weakness on a larger scale. But to insult one's intelligence, that's just below the belt.

Re: In-contract trick to get new blackberry for cheap, possible?
Our D.M. would call our AT&T rep, and they would add the amount to their account. Not entirely sure how our Account Manager was able to do it, or if she was even authorized, but it got done.

It is unfair to the rep. Some reps, in indirect, usually make most if not all of their money in sales. Corporate reps make about 1/3 of their income in their commissions.
I don't know about indirect, but a corporate rep can get hit with a chargeback as far out as four to six months. Their commission is referred to as an advance. If the customer deactivates a new line or even returns and resets ...

and I love it!!! I don't take many pictures, so it taking a couple of second for the shutter to snap isn't a big deal for me.
I have utilized almost every feature/ability this phone has to offer, and I must say, this is easily the best phone I have ever carried from Verizon.
My only gripe, it is taking a little longer to get used to on the full keypad for texting. I find myself using "word" on ...
