chipping buttons
Does anyone have problems with the keys chipping? On my mom's phone all the buttons are chipping and on mine the little mouse pad is starting to chip. I have not abused this phone and wondered if anyone els has this problem? Thanks
Difference between Pearl & Curve???
Please can someone tell me, I have the pearl and recently upgraded to the curve. The ppl at Verizon said there is no difference except the keypad and screen. I wonder is the internet speed different?? Is there really any reason to upgrade? I miss my pearl suretype, the buttons on the curve are really small and hard to type on (for me atleast) Any help would be great :?

Hi, I just bought a new curve from Verizon today. While I was in the store their phone had a weather bug icon when you push the menu button. It was in with like the browser, media, message etc. Does anyone know how to get it there?? I would love to just click on that instead of going on the browser itself. Any help would be great! Hi,my daughter and I are looking to buy a storm (currently I have a pearl), I was reading the reviews, and someone said it doesnt have a lock for the touch screen so you may make call by mistake. Is this true? Also, my daughter is on the fence between the storm and the omnia, any more comments for either would great! thanks :D

Verizon download from desktop
Hi, please advise. I had a T mobile pearl and we switched to Verizon and I got another pearl. Can I use my blackberry desktop to restore my phone book, calender, etc? I don't want to screw up my new phone. Is the software the same? Thanks for any help :)

Well, in my opinion I would recommend the curve. The internet is faster if you are near a wifi. The screen is bigger and setting up email is easy. The Pearl is a great phone too and 1 thing I miss is the sure type. On the curve the buttons are small and it does take some getting used to but after a while you'll be a pro! Hi, I have T Mobile but I really like the red pearl offered by AT&T. It seems the features are different like the set up of the screen. When you cordinate it with T Mobile will this change to the T Mo version or is this just built into the phone itself? Hi, right now I have the BB Pearl. I love the phone but I can't surf ebay to see what I am selling. My old SK2 would go on ebay. Does the dash support the program to go on ebay? Or should I get the SK3 ? Any suggestions would be great! Thanks :)

Help please. I had a BB pearl and somehow I got the track ball to flash different colors when the phone rang. We have another BB now and I don't know how to get that setting. Hi, I just signed up with verizon again and I got the LG 8300 for a phone. I used to have verizon and I had the LG 8100. I loved that phone with the blinking light in the front, but they have discontinued it. Does anyone know if it was a bad phone and that is why it is gone? Is there a difference? Hi, I was wondering if anyone is having a problem with dropped calls? This is the only phone I am having trouble with at work with loosing the signal. I have a sidekick 2 and they are known for bad signal and it doesn't drop calls. Does anyone else have this problem? I really love this phone but this is a problem, Please reply! :)

If you are deaf don't buy the sidekick 3, you will never hear it! The ringer is really low compared to the sidekick 2. The features are cool but just a step up from the SK2. Buy a used one on ebay, that is my advice.

Hi again, just to let you know I was on the phone for an hour with T Mobile today to get the ringer to be louder they finally told me that they are having issues with the ringer not being loud enough. They are going to fix it in the future. So in the meantime I am returning mine and waiting to see what they come up with. Thats all! :D

Yes you can hear it if you are not in a noisy situation. I work in a restaraunt/bar and I keep the phone in my apron, I can never hear it ring, only vibrate sometimes, but if you are at home and it is on the counter it is loud enough for you to hear. You should have no problem if you are used to keeping your phones on the low setting. I don't think it will ever be ...

Mine is going back too but it is because it doesn' ring loud enough. I missed a lot of calls for this reason. I am going back to my Juicy Couture SK2.

Yes, I have the same problem, I am sending mine back just because of this reason. I have missed many phone calls because of this problem. I have read the reason (in the phone scoop review) is because the sidekick 3 doesn't have the extra speaker like the sidekick 2 does. I guess the SK 2 has 2 speakers. Anways, good luck!

True, the sidekick 3 has awsome features but the only thing to watch out for is the ringer. You can not hear it at all in noisy places. Even when it is on max volume. Just thought I would point that out.. Good luck with your decision :)

Sounds like it, even the back light settings give you 20 seconds before turning off at minimum. Why don't you bring it to your local dealer and see what they say? Good luck, hope it works for you :)

Hi, I bought an unlocked blue razr from ebay and maybe someone can tell me how to download pictures or songs from the internet. When I had the silver razr I bought from T Moblie I could just go to their website and download but this phone says browser not setup?? Help please... Kim

Hi, I would recommend the razr. Both my mom and I have it and we love it, great reception, no dropped calls ( she had the v360 and always had dropped or no calls). The battery life is great if not using bluetooth. Screen is large and talking on the phone is like having the person right next to you. To get your speed dial you have to go to settings...initial setup...one touch dial and change it from sim to phone. then you speed dial should work :) Kim
