No they will not work. Virgin Mobile uses CDMA technology in the USA, and T-Mobile uses GSM.

Mmmmmmmmm, not sure if that is true. One thing that DOES limit your talk is the poor battery life on ALL Cricket Phones. So yes, you can talk Unlimited... as long as you have 4 Back Up Batteries!

OK, I've been browsing the net and I found this "New Carrier" that is supposed to start services on July 1st 2009.
The company is called Buzzirk (Wireless/Mobile) and it's supposed to be a Broadband VoIp Mobile company offering an unbelievable array of services (I really believe this is a scam) Here is a part of the text I found on one of many (more than 100) websites announcing this new carrier:

If you read closely on the plan description for Boost, it says you get unlimited calling ONLY TO SPRINT-NEXTEL AND BOOST SUBSCRIBERS. So if you want call T-mobile, Cricket or any other carrier you'll have to add funds to your prepaid account.

Good idea, but too unrealistic.
It is a good idea to use this technology on developing countries; however the main concern is not the price of the Phone itself, but the price of having a cellular provider. The plans and prices in developing countries are not as accessible as those we have in the U.S. There are some countries where you can get 60 minutes a month for $58. 8O How do you expect some one to add internet acces as an ...

Both things are tru. You do not receive a list and yes, you can use your PHN nationwide on VZW network with travel time. Expensive, but handy. :D

Well about the service, I cannot make any statement since I do not have Amp'd. However about the refund process, I know that it is standard procedure for a Credit Card refund to take 4-6 weeks. That's why you have to do your homework before buying a service from a new provider.

Is Cricket ever going to sell any other brand than Kyocera?
:? I do not trust Kyocera Phones. They are ugly and cheap built. Besides once you see all you can get is one brand it makes you fell like you are being forced to buy from them. I would like to see some other brand included on the Cricket lineup.

It is not as easy as it seems. Adding security to privacy on phn accounts is for most subscribers a hassle. This is one of the main concerns on the Customer Service industry. Sometimes is cheaper to have security leaks than loosing customers to security procedures.
