Ive been using the moto HS850 and 820 With my Blackberry.. Probably the only Motorola product I have ever been happy with....... I luv the Boom that closes and opens so If i dont have it on I can just open it and it connects and answers the call at the same time!!! .. People can always hear me good never any complaints. Austiniter -- I would have to agree with you. We just launched our Statewide Unlm plans in the upper northwest and it has been a huge hit. $50 a month for unlm usage with free long distance is a great price. We have a lot of customers just dropping landline service and going to straight cellular., CellularONE invested over 130 million last year in our network and has a very agressive outlook for ...

Not a big deal.. They are just making sure the Crooks dont get them!! If you require a deposit you screwed someone over or have outstanding bills with someone!

Nokia's Are almost Always the Best.. Nokia 6101 We seem to have the least amount of probelms with them. Great receiption. Nice camera, video and radio. The V555 has also been a good phone. Only thing this phone has over the Nokia is it has bluetooth which is always nice and a external antenna connection if you travel a lot.. Z500 is somewhat outdate but still a very nice phone we have just had it for almost ...

It goes by Who owns which markets and Alltel must not own in your area.. Cell companies have a lot of roaming partners to get service in all those area's. They are also good at showing service everywhere if when it may not work in all those area's.

The V190 has seem to be a much better phone the V180. The V180 was a horrible phone with receiption issues, dropped call issues, displays going out. V190 has a much better feel and doesnt feel as cheap.. Receiption seems to be better but We have already seem some people return them because they are not as good as their nokia's where. Overall it is a nice inexpensive flip phone with a lot of nice features ...

From what we sell here they are all usually unbranded and are not locked. I have put other sim cards from other carriers and also transfered data through bluetooth. All are phones should be that way. I am suprised to hear that yours was disabled. It shouldnt have been . What area did you buy yours from?

Re: Cellular one frequency

That is correct you must have the 850mhz band and 1900 to work on our network. Usually there are two differnt models one that has 850/1800/1900 and one that has 900/1800/1900. You probably will want to check to see if there is two diffent models of the phone. That band will probably not work with anyone currently because all of the GSM carriers now either use or roam with the 850mhz band. Which include T ...

I personally think blackberrys sync the best with outlook. If you have a Blackberry enterprise server you dont even need to snyc. Other wise you just plug in quick either through usb or bluetooth and it sync's everything. If you dont like the blackberry's size nokia just came out with a new version of the 6820 -- nokia 6822 that is running a blackberry OS. Check it out. All on GSM networks../.

Just use a quicklink and use your phone as a modem. You just have check to make sure your phone is compatible and get the software. We sell both the software/quicklink for phones that have these features.

Alltel's Purchase of Western Wireless will they Keep GSM Roaming?

Courious if anyone new what their plans where. Western Wireless has gsm in a lot of areas for roaming revenue/partners. We are one, just curious if alltel plans to keep these with the purchase and if they do if they plan on expanding.

That would be great if they did! Do you have good source that you know that stated they will keep it. I don't know why they would completly get rid of it. Its roaming revenue for them.. But it also helps out the competitor.

With the Alltel Buyout are they keeping GSM Roaming agreements?
Nov 17, 2005, 12:39 PM

Does anyone know if they plan to keep the gsm technology for previous roaming agreements that WWC had? My roaming department here stated that they dont have to keep these if they don't want to. Just curious. I know our company roams with WWC in the Dakota's on GSM
